Rental property sale

The process i feel took a long time due to the buyer (who was renting the property) finding a mortgage and changing solicitor. With 3 days to go to when the buyers mortgage offer expired problems occurred which caused me concerns but with 3 teams from our solicitors involved they successfully completed the sale.

Never again

I have just recently sold my property with PM property Lawyers, it has took just over 7 months for what really should have been a simple sale. The communication was completely unacceptable. Letting me know on the day that completion would not take place. This happened about 3 times. The lack of care resulted in me losing the property I was due to purchase due to the stress and no communication when we tried to contact them on numerous occasions. I put a complaint in and was offered £50. Even on the day of completion they never confirmed it. Luckily I was in direct contact with the buyer so they were able to confirm everything with me. Emails were unanswered, calls unanswered. When trying to call them you could be on hold for an hour at least. It has been the most stressful 7 months of my whole life and they could not have cared less about my situation. You are just a number unfortunately. The solicitors I was using to buy my new property could not believe how unprofessional they were. Do not use this firm. Team Rusian to be specific. They came recommended from Purple Bricks, when I spoke with them about how bad my situation was they could not have cared less either. As I said I lost my house because of the lack of communication. DO NOT USE!

Dreadful

My experience was beyond stressful. The conveyancing should have been straightforward. No chain, cash buyers,no searches. But instead it dragged on gor almost 6 months . Limited communication,no replies to emails or app messages and up to one hour on telephone call holds. They were not ready on the date set for completion which was delayed a further month and almost lost me the purchase. The sense of helplessness was beyond description to the point where my only action and only method of getting a response and some progress on my case was to make a complaint via their internal complaints process. I would never use again and would advise others contemplating using the services to go elsewhere and safe the nightmare experience I have had
.

Disappointing

Started off good communication was there at the beginning, at one point they didn’t communicate with me for 8 weeks I was weekly emailing them and got no response then they came back with a different solicitor, was very strange, tried calling them several times no answer, so not a good experience they did get my case completed but that last few days was full of excuses, not impressed with the whole experience

Very poor

We were passed from lawyer to lawyer 6 or 7 times. It was very hard, if not impossible to contact the person who was supposed to be working on our case from week to week. As I write this I am waiting for a response about a mistake made by the company, whereby some Items I paid for with the purchase of the property have not been left in place, due to lack of attention to the forms we filled out weeks ago. The office staff are friendly (except for 1 very rude person) and try to help as much as they are able but passing the latest persons number to you and leaving you at the begging of another call queue hoping this new person will answer isn't exactly a positive result after already being in a call queue for a long time. I would not recommend using PM Lawyers, but we did finally complete the property purchase this week.

Mixed review

I had a mixed review of using this solicitors firm.
I was asssigned 2 solicitors through my purchase. My second solicitor Amy Thompson was great. She was always quick to respond and kept me updated the whole way through and got all work completed in a timely manner.
Although the first solicitor I was assigned was impossible to get hold of and work just wasn't getting done. There was a whole month where I just couldn't get hold of anyone. I finally got through the the main office and was only then assigned a different solicitor and was told he was off sick. It seemed I only got reassigned once I chased them. This dragged my purchase out for much longer than needed.

Think twice on on-line solicitors.

Think twice about using PM Property Lawyers. Whist there should be no issue to use such a service as an approved panel solicitor for Paragon Finance our experience has been non professional and lacking.

The use of inexperience front end administration staff for the onboarding form filling fails if they don’t have knowledge of the service.

It’s disappointing to be refused to be put through to managers or to raise a complaint.

My experience is cheaper is certainly not a reason on legal related matters even if it’s simple panel solicitor service you’re looking for.

@Paragon Finance, do you review the solicitors you recommended on your list panel solicitors ?

Avoid.

Can't fault our experience with PM Property lawyers. We dealt with all different members of the team mainly Donna towards the end who has always been able to respond to and help with all our queries. While there was a stage where we struggled to get replies through emails, they were always at the end of the phone so make sure to keep reaching out if you want to make sure everything gets done, don't get lost at the bottom of the inbox and if you're not sure about anything ask, I had to double and triple check so many things and they would still always reply. Have exchanged this week and due to complete on Friday and really grateful to the work our solicitors have done! Seen a lot of bad reviews so wanted to take the time to thank the team.

I really regret going with this firm. I have spent 20+ hours in total on hold trying to get through to my case handler (my purchase hasn't gone through yet so I expect this number to rise significantly). When you are on hold for for 90 mins the line just goes dead and you have to call again and wait at the back of the queue. When you call the main office line all they tell you is to call the direct line of the case handler. I called around 2 weeks ago to make a complaint and they said someone will get back to me but no one has as of yet. Not a single one of my emails have been replied to. I would give 0 stars if I could, it has truly been one of my worst experiences. Would not recommend.

They don’t reply to emails, they don’t reply to messages on the PM App, they don’t answer phone calls was the first one in line yesterday waited 45 minutes nobody spoke to me, called again later in the day same thing happened, this is unexceptable as I’m ready to complete on the sale of my home and they don’t communicate with me, a very unhappy customer

Bought a property at auction and advised to use this company by the auction house
I have used lots of solicitors in the past and thought I had seen it all
As I'm typing this I'm struggling to find the words to describe the level of incompetence they shown, no forward thinking and blaming everyone else for them not being proactive
A simple 2 bed terrace (no special requirements) taken 3 and a half months causing extra costs to myself of approx. £3500
I written a formal complaint and they again said its not there fault

It got so bad that everyone in this process was laughing at how bad they have been and became a running joke, after speaking to other solicitors they said they wont have any dealing with this company because they are so bad

Just look at alllll the other reviews and it tell you all you need to know

Avoid this firm at all costs. Was told that my sale and purchase would take about 3 months, currently 6 months in and still not completed with no date.

They haven’t sent the funds for my sale, there is zero communication, takes days for an email reply and the hold time by phone is ridiculous and I still haven’t spoken directly to the solicitor dealing with my purchase. I also made a complaint to them which they rejected, unbelievable.
