I used PM Property Lawyers for the purchase of my house. At first I found them quite slow to respond to emails and I was also allocated a few different people. But Team Lancaster were really efficient and kept me updated. Emails were responded to in a timely manner and it took approximately 10 weeks to complete the purchase. On the day of completion everything was done by 11.30am which was surprising and all went through smoothly. Thank you PM Property Lawyers. Would I use them again, with the experience I had yes I would.

Affordable and straight forward
I found pm property lawyers friendly and easy to contact. They dealt with both the sale and purchase and worked to get both cases completed on the same day. I spoke mostly to Molly Lancaster who was helpful and straightforward. I found it was best to follow up emails with a phone call and there can be a wait, I did however get the information and updates I needed.

Very thorough
They were very thorough when it came to dealing with all enquiries, paperwork, sellers solicitors, estate agent and myself.
They did everything they were meant to and even listened to me babbling on woth my questions when I needed to understand something.
If you want it done properly, I recommend PM Lawyers.

Trustworthy solicitors
I used PM Lawyers to do the conveyancing to purchase my house, They use a system of teams to take you through the process and all were courteous, understanding of my needs and professional, Mollie Lancaster was my main solicitor and she knew to ask the vendor things I wouldn't have even thought about, I would use them again in a heartbeat but this hopefully will be my final home.

House move
My experience with pm Property lawyers was stressful, on the 3rd june 2024, we got an email from Butterworth's solicitor's saying they were merging with PM Property lawyers, from then on we hardly heard from pm Property lawyers, we had to phone up to see if there was any updates, we got told either the solicitor was on sick, on annual leave or on another call, I asked if they could phone me back when they were finished on the other call, they never did.

Poor communication and delays
I paid my deposit on 3/7/24 and had no communication unless I messaged the app service. I was allocated 3 conveyancers without speaking to the first two. Everything seemed to be a dead end until November and I still had to chase up all phonecalls to get the sale complete. Calling sellers and estate agents myself. I’m unsure what service I actually paid for. Completion on 17-1-25, 6 months!! Also, it was not uncommon to wait on hold 15-35 minutes for the phone to be answered. This review is not related to Mollie as she took on the case and got it completed

Took FOREVER
Easy purchase, no chain, buying without an estate agent so straight through to sellers solicitors.
Took 6 months, and did nothing unless chased, a number of times. Gave them a deadline of 1st November, and took 9 weeks longer than that to complete.
Whom ever it was we spoke to on the phone had the mumbliest voice I’ve ever heard & I struggled to understand him.
Lost paperwork. Had to send the TR1 form 3 times, really frustrating.
Very disappointed with the service.

Misleading
On three separate occasions, I was asked to re-sign documents because my signature allegedly didn’t match. However, apon looking at the document to re-sign, I noticed that they had additional or corrected information. This suggests the issue wasn’t with my signature but rather errors in the original documents, which they didn’t want to acknowledge. On one occasion, the link they provided didn’t even include the required documents. As a result, I had to spend over £15 on postage to resend documents, which was both frustrating and avoidable. Often I would message and never receive a reply on the app. So I would have to phone and at time the person I was speaking with spoke very fast and quietly so struggled to understand.

My first home purchase
Great people, Making sure all documents are in the correct legal order.
It is a boring long process to the point that I forgot that I was buying a house at one point.
Every thing is done between the solicitors seller's/buyer's, you only get contacted for confirmation, approval and signature.
They did take a load off my mind, there app show me the progress and the stage that the process is at.
Very good experience for my first home.
