Professional Team, but took a long time
I had two teams working on my sale and purchase. These were Team Morris and Team Cutts respectively.
I truly felt as though my best interests were central to both teams' actions, following up or catching on items that may have otherwise gone astray. It did take time to complete the sale, but it wasn't a simple transaction. I thought communication between teams could have been better, but overall it worked well. Donna was meticulous and provided great communication. Christopher I didn't speak to as much, mostly "Hannah" from his team who was friendly. Most of all, I could trust that things were happening, but towards the latter stages of the sale & purchase, I had to chase for updates more from Team Morris.

Sale of property
PM Property Lawyers were great. They met our deadline with ease and with no fuss. Everything went smoothly and Hannah and Chris were courteous and diligent. We will definitely use them again and would heartily recommend them

Conveyancing v solicitors
Good price, good feedback, better than several previous experysith more expensive Solicitors.

Over 30 hours on hold
Sometimes I would be on hold for an hour and half to be able to speak with the team, only to be told we were making progress but it would turn out to be untrue. I was using 2 different teams Parkin and Morris with my purchase and sale and it was the most frustrating time. The only saving grace for them was that Hannah and Kassandra in each team did at least act human and try to help when you did make it through eventually and Mr Morris did seem to be understanding too. I was mainly frustrated as I used them before and they were so good. This time it seems like they have taken on too much work for the size of the firm. And 4 days on and I still don't have my money from my sale.

Review
It was confusing to have one solicitor for my sale and another for the purchase. They both seemed to be doing there best but essentially it seemed to be a tick box exercise in which they struggled to relate to my particular circumstances

AVOID!
I rarely leave reviews on anything, however I would advise anyone that thinks about using them not to, yes you do get a good price in comparison there’s a reason for that. My property was picked pretty quickly but because of their lack of communication with me the customer after asking several times what they needed from me which was supplied at the earliest I could, they still managed to take supposedly 48 to review the documents, more like 120+ hours despite me constantly contacting. After phoning to be told to email, which is what I did in the first place. Over 7 months, even then buyer solicitors couldn’t get hold of them and they the contacted me, which frankly is not right. Then at the time of exchange to be told they needed something else from me despite the above, which then prolonged it for another 2/3 weeks. Shocking! I asked to complain and they did the generic “should probably do something” and didn’t even give me a chance to complain (made them pull their finger out) which you have to do via the website again still waiting a response over week plus later. I’m planning on going to the legal ombudsman as this is the route you have to take before approaching them. Streams of emails that prove my point! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Pay a bit extra and get someone/another firm. Also at the last hurdle asked me for all of the documents that I had already sent that they already had but didn’t bother to look for (the documents they ask for to start the process). And your on the phone for roughly 30 minutes on hold/in the que before anyone answers. Again AVOID!!!

They delayed my completion and the communication was awful
I would phone and be waiting for over an hour every time and never get hold of someone.
I would email and never get a reply and they would also treat the other solicitors the same. To the point that the vendors where going to put it back on the market two days before we agreed on a date. The whole move took 20 weeks.

6 months for completion
For the first 4 months it was almost impossible to talk to anyone on the phone to help me answer questions or to find out how things were going with the sale, towards the end the phone was answered quickly which helped. I don’t understand why the sale took so long.
