AVOID.
I used this conveyancing company for the sale of my property and purchase of another. To say the process was a nightmare would be an understatement. The conveyancing company caused multiple significant delays which led to us almost losing our purchase. The junior staff working on our case were incompetent and quite frankly rude. Emily was the associate who was very condescending over the phone and showed no urgency when required. She kept ending the call saying the file is under review when it wasn’t and I did not hear back from the solicitor, Donna. The exchange got delayed and overall the completion took much much longer than it should have.
The number of mistakes made during this process by the conveyancers were ridiculous, including sending incorrect documents. Documents filed in February were only picked up to be incorrect in April. Queries were not responded to for over 2 weeks. I had to chase up daily with zero response from the solicitor.
These incompetencies caused a large strain on all transactions and parties involved. I would avoid this company entirely.

Sale and purchase
It was a bit like being on a helter-skelter with no end to the ride in sight.
Initially all good, but as we progressed the whole process lurched from Team A to Team B, then to Team C and so on.
Communication was non existent for weeks on end.
Teams did not know what was happening around them.
Allocation of the work was poor. We did finally get there, but what a struggle.

Donna Cutts is fabulous
Our purchase was pretty protracted and hit several bumps in the road, but Donna Cutts was brilliant from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and she took the stress out of certain situations. She renewed our faith in conveyancing solicitors. Highly rate Donna and her team.

11 months - and still to the wire.
I got in contact 11 months ago and only completed today. My emails got ignored, I was asked to find documents that were public record (and could easily have been found if they bothered to Google), I chased up documents my solicitors were waiting for. Their definition of "follow up" or "chase" was writing another email to a business at a general query inbox. I called up and got the information instantly so instead of simply picking up the phone, they just sent an email and marked their task as done. I almost didn't complete complete today - I only did as I pushed back and said we needed to ask my buyer was going on holiday!

Very efficient
I've had a varied experience with this particular solicitor firm due to having several probate properties to sell, and I will give an individual review for each experience. For this particular sale, I had the services of Team Wright, and I have to say Joseph was absolutely wonderful - excellent communication and very efficient, as was his team. He explained everything in a way that was always easy to understand and always helpful and pleasant to speak to. The sale went through smoothly, and I recommend him for overseeing any property sale or purchase. Good communication skills are essential to avoid misunderstandings and stress, and Team Wright could not be faulted in this regard. I stress that this review represents my experience with Team Wright rather than for PM Properties per se.

Great Service

We got there in the end but it started off very slowly.
Most we eventually completed on the sale of my property, it wasn’t all done as quickly and efficiently as I expected we exceeded the timeframe that was initially said for a no chain, sale only completion. I found myself contacting the office on a daily basis which I’m sure it was less painful for them as it was for me. That being said I have recommended them to a friend as they are reasonably priced and she is in no rush for her sale to go through.

Donna Cutts Fantastic
Donna went the extra mile made us feel like her only client nothing was too much. Donna is so approachable we even had a laugh about the sale of the property. I’d highly recommend her and would definitely use Donna again

Mixed feelings
Don’t use this company, they allocate you one solicitor for sale & one for purchase and this just doesn’t work!
and although we we're told this would not cause any issues it meant that we had to be very proactive in communicating with both solicitors to ensure everything was getting done, basically doubling the communication, if we had known this at instruction we would never had used them
Our purchasing solicitor Donna Cutts communication was totally unprofessional & unacceptable, we complained over & over again to one of her assistants to try and get her to call us which she never did, she was always working from home, We were told that she ‘ preferred to communicate by email’ Her emails were very confusing as it appeared she copied templates and added sections & these would often contradictory, we needed to speak to her to understand her emails but she never called us back which made us feel very unsure of what was happening with our purchase
Eventually we asked for our Purchase to be moved to another solicitor
Our sale was dealt with by Chris Morris who was excellent, he spoke to us several times during the process giving clear advise and communication
Because of our experience with the purchasing solicitor I would say don’t use these firm for your conveying

Excellent company
Third property sale this year and all handled by PMPL. Was a pleasure to deal with Donna & her team who gave me confidence in the way the sales progressed.
Easy to deal with and fully understanding keeping me updated all the way both by email and PMPL portal, as well as a smiley voice when we had phone conversations.
Would highly recommend and will use again.
