Another mixed performance!

After being encouraged to use Lyons Bowe again after using them 4 years ago, I must admit that, overall, they were much improved. The sale of my property was smooth and well dealt with. However, our joint onward purchase was somewhat different. There are a number of different departments within the company, with multiple people who contacted us and quite often we found it hard finding 1 individual who was dealing with our case. That said, the people we dealt with were polite and helpful.
When it came to the legal team however, Neel didn't fill us with any confidence. She often didn't reply to emails, didn't answer some of our questions and also I had to inform her of the tax impact of our purchase which she got wrong. She had trouble dealing with the other solicitor too, none of which helped our purchase proceed smoothly. Unfortunately, I won't be using Lyons Bowe again as it is the second time I haven't been entirely happy with the overall quality of their service.
