I honestly can’t thank Somia and Claire enough for everything they did to help me buy my house. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish! Solicitors often have a reputation for being slow and frustrating, but that couldn’t have been further from my experience with them. Their communication was brilliant, and they always took the time to explain things to me in a way that was simple and easy to understand - which made such a difference in what was a really overwhelming process.
At one point, I was at serious risk of being left without a home because the solicitor handling my sale almost had me exchange before checking that my new house was ready. It was a terrifying situation, but Somia and Claire stepped in and made absolutely sure that didn’t happen. Their attention to detail and quick thinking meant I had somewhere to move to, and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without them.
They also completely understood how stressful the process was for me. There were times when my anxiety got the better of me, and I’d call them in a panic, but they were always so patient and reassuring. No matter how many questions I had, they never made me feel like a burden - instead, they put me at ease every single time. They even went above and beyond by contacting me outside of standard working hours when they needed to, knowing that my job makes it difficult for me to take calls during the day. That level of care and effort really meant a lot.
I can’t stress enough how much I felt like they were working for me the whole way through. They truly did everything they could to make the process as smooth as possible, and I’ll always be grateful for that.
