Slow processing & poor communication - Premium price though.

Used them to sell my property in 2021, Wimbledon office were recommended by my estate agent.
They were the most expensive, but I was dealing with a local office of a medium sized firm and assumed / hoped if I paid more I would get more. Had 1 conversation with the solicitor, then he ignored my calls, would reply to emails 3 days later.

I have since bought a property and through a portal service, half the price and responsive to calls and emails.

Sept 2024 just sold a house, my solicitor was very quick and efficient, the buyers used Taylor Rose (different solicitor within TR) and they were very, very slow and nit picky - to justify their charges. 25 days after she received the legal pack she was asking for a copy of the sales contract she had had for 25 days.

Fantastic Helpful Service

I worked with Sini Kumaran who was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process. I’m a first time buyer and had a lot of questions and she was very patient and knowledgable in helping me understand the process. She was very thorough and even helped out with the estate agents and mortgage brokers when issues arose there - overall I would highly recommend!

Outstanding service.

We engaged Paul A to apply for probate on my mum's estate as we were in the process of selling her flat to pay for her care when she died. It is not cheap and we were somewhat hesitant to do it because of that, but we are extremely thankful we did. Paul got everything sorted and probate granted extremely fast - he absolutely went above and beyond for us at a very difficult time and I would thoroughly recommend him.

Worst experience

This was one of the worst experience. It started with assigning me and my sellers same solicitor. It was changed later which I got to know through some document sent by agent, but never got any communication from Taylor Rose and also wasted a month of time. Each time getting response from solicitor required at least 2-3 weeks of follow up and they were not clear in their approach. Even the information of contract exchange postponement was received from agent and not solicitor. Towards the end I got bills almost twice the quoted price. On asking for details they handed a client care letter detailing the charges which should have been a part of quote. I feel like cheated. I was expecting a more transparent quote before starting the process. They are forcing services without communicating about it and then billing it when client cannot back off. I will never recommend them.

Excellent service throughout

I needed assistance of a solicitor, after being involved in an accident. I went onto the law society website to look for an accredited solicitor in personal injury. Having never been in this position before, I had a lot of questions about this unknown territory.
Caroline Kempster, a partner at Taylor Rose, called me and dispelled any queries I had. Caroline has guided me through every step of the way. We mainly communicated via email, which was excellent. She was only a phone call away, if I needed to speak to her personally. Caroline did make the process so much more manageable and easy to understand. Always professional and personable, I would highly recommend her services at Taylor Rose.

A client

Fantastic!

I cannot recommend Peter and his incredible team—Mubashara, Diane, and Megan—highly enough! From the very beginning, their professionalism, expertise, and genuine care stood out.

Although we faced a few challenges along the way, Peter was always quick to address and resolve them. Whenever an issue arose, I could speak to Peter directly and easily, and his swift action and reassuring manner left me confident that I was in safe hands. Unlike some budget solicitors...who often offer reduced prices at the expense of customer service and accessibility, Peter’s team provided exceptional support throughout. It's definitely worth it being that extra price.

Peter's guidance was second to none. He explained every detail of the process with clarity and patience, ensuring I felt fully informed and confident at every stage. Mubashara’s diligence and unwavering commitment were truly remarkable—she consistently went above and beyond to ensure nothing was overlooked. Diane’s proactive and attentive approach brought a sense of calm, and Megan’s efficiency and warm demeanour added the perfect finishing touch to this outstanding team.

What truly sets Peter and his team apart is their ability to combine exceptional legal expertise with a deeply personal touch. They transformed what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless, stress-free experience, delivering results beyond my expectations.

If you’re looking for a solicitor who genuinely cares about their clients and excels in every aspect of their service, Peter and his team are simply unparalleled. Thank you all for your hard work, dedication, and unwavering support—you have made a significant difference, and I am immensely grateful!

After my brother had a fantastic experience working with Humzah Sherwani on his new home purchase, I decided to go with him as well. Since then, I’ve relied on Humzah for two separate conveyances and couldn’t be happier with the service. He and his team made what can often be a stressful process so much more manageable and straightforward. I’m really grateful for their professionalism and support throughout. Highly recommend!
