Very poor

I found this firm to be very slow to respond … had to chase them constantly for updates throughout house purchase. I had an appointment booked to sign final documents and when I turned up I was told my solicitor was “in training”. Unprofessional and slow service. Would not recommend at all

First time purchase

Extremely professional and quality service.
Anne-Marie and Summer did a brilliant job from start to finish, even under a curveball of tight time constraints towards the end. Everything was explained to me clearly and I could not have asked for more help in securing my first property, so thank you. Highly recommend!

Consistently bad service

This firm was recommended to us by our Estate Agent and had quite a simple task of arranging the conveyancing for a property we are selling. From start to finish, they failed to respond to communications; had portal problems where we were unable to even pay their fee and we were passed to various people. Communication within the firm is badly lacking. Eventually as the portal would not work for paying them, they said they would get their Accounts Department to ring us to take the details. They didn't... I finally gave them a 'by date' to contact us and then we would instruct another firm. That date came and went with no call. We instructed another firm recommended to us by a friend and it has provided excellent service. What finally prompted me to write this is that, 2 weeks after 'de-instructing' Taylor Rose, I have just received a phone call from their Accounts Department to take details for their fee. So the communication system remains just as we left it, despite our complaint. I see the 5 star reviews on here but something is seriously wrong at this firm at the moment and I would use with great caution or better, still, go elsewhere.

Excellent Service

Sean McCormack and his team were of great support during a very difficult time. He handled my case with great care, compassion and professionalism and we received the desired outcome. I am very pleased with the results and I now have peace of mind and can leave my incident in the past. I would gladly recommend Sean.

From day one of being introduced to Sean he has been extremely professional, sensitive to my personal situation, very knowledgeable about the process, medical industry & explained everything in ‘plain English’ for me.

Sean would always take the time to talk through all the options on the table & allow me time to digest things.

He always responded promptly to my emails & phone calls. And I was constantly aware of my options & next steps.

I would highly recommend Sean to anyone looking for a solicitor in this sector.

Great job! Thanks so much, my family & I will be internally grateful.

Avoid! MW don't come back to you, don't return calls, don't follow up as promised. My experience with this company was to basically get ignored! Shocking service and they take no responsibility at all.

We have just bought our first house and used Taylor Rose Hove as our solicitors. It was extra convenient as our sellers were also using Taylor Rose in Eastbourne. The process was very smooth sailing, the only delays were out of our solicitors control (waiting on forms from the sellers for example) and minimal anyways. The communication from Zafrin and Abby was fantastic, they replied to our emails promptly and with useful information. As first time buyers this was extra helpful as we were completely clueless on the process. Thank you!

Not yet completed on the purchase of my flat, but so far my experience has been great with Taylor Rose, I’ve used solicitors in the past that take days or weeks to reply to emails and never answer the phone. Zafrin based in the Hove branch has been a breath of fresh air. Highly recomend.

After a less than ideal start with a previous solicitor, i only have good things to say about Danielle McMahon. She has been so professional and happy to help throughout managing my case and i have never waited longer than 24 hours for a reply from her, infact i dont think i ever waited longer than 12 hours! She has been my absolute saviour and has made a stressful process much easier, i wouldnt hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Thank you Danielle for all of your help.

Taylor Rose conducted the sale of an apartment for us. The task was managed very professionally by Magdalena Grzesiecka and Liz Baguley. As a foreigner it was very important to us that they handled everything pro-actively and in a self-contained manner. Additionally, communication was always easy and very responsive. All in all we recommend this service and would certainly consult them again for a similar legal task.
