I have been dealing with Simpson Solicitors, part of the Right Legal Group, regarding revising my will and registering Last Power of Attorney documents since January 2024. The whole experience has been appalling - poor conmmunication, paperwork taking weeks to arrive, a copy of my will being sent to a third party.
Seven months after sending the completed documents, I received a letter from them saying that I had to sign more paperwork and also pay a further £164 for them to be registered. I find it amazing that a legal firm is able to provide this level of service - the apologies I have received a half hearted and there has been no attempt to compensate me for the stress and worry that they have caused me

She gave us a comprehensive and detailed breakdown of the processes to be followed and the various steps to deal with the estate. This was done in a friendly, sympathetic and professional manner with sound advice and helpful tips. Thank you Afreen for your visit and help which was very much appreciated.

Absolutely terrible service dealing with the probate case of my father.
Had reason to go to the ombudsman, who also agreed their service was terrible and awarded full damages.
Unfortunately my mother named them as executor and I'm experiencing the extremely poor service again already
Avoid at all costs because all they do is make a stressful situation worse

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! when they were Simpsons they were great but now they are part of this group they are absolutely horrendous deal with. They employ students who are training, pay them peanuts and their staff turnover is so high as a result. Their response time is shocking and I feel I have been treated absolutely appallingly by them. AVOID!!
