This is the second time I've used Rachael McClean as our solicitor and as always she is excellent; communicative, thorough and approachable. It's also the first time we have used BLJ, and we were equally impressed by the firm as a whole, particularly with Victoria. They also make use of a brilliant app which makes submitting paperwork a doddle. Would highly recommend.

Samantha couldn’t of been anymore help to me and the situation I was in she’s really helped me carm down as I was suffering from a lot of anxiety and helped me get some warmer clothes as I was so cold. I couldn’t of asked anymore of her.

I was unfortunate to be arrested for an incident which I voluntarily offered to a crisis health team.
Safeguarding justified the arrest.
I asked for the police custody facility's duty solicitor who happened to be BLJ. Their representative was Julian who discussed my situation and advised me how to answer the questions to be asked in the interview to follow.
I was subsequently released on conditional bail and in the following days received paperwork from Julian which I had to sign.
After five weeks I was told that my case was to be dropped with no further action.
I was very happy with Julian and the professionalism and organisational aspects of BLJ.

We were initially recommended Bell Lamb and Joynson through an associate of BNI Merseyside. I couldn’t recommend our solicitor Gemma Scholes any more! Only a phone call away, Gemma has been super helpful, friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with every day during the entire process of buying our new home.
Gemma is very knowledgable and experienced in her job which means that she was able to answer my many questions in a professional and comprehensible way giving both clear and confident legal advice. Even the very complicated legal things were easy to understand with Gemma’s help.
I would highly recommend both BLJ as a whole and Gemma in particular as someone who is both excellent at their job whilst also being incredibly friendly, intelligible and attentive in their duties. Thanks again for all of your help.

Used as conveyancers for our house sale and purchase. Easy app to use to track progress (although felt experience for previous house purchase with BLJ was smoother) Would absolutely use again. No complaints.

What can I say Samantha lack was amazing. Made me feel at ease throughout the case everytime I spoke to her.
Any time I need to get in contact with my case she was there.
She got things sorted 2 days before my bail date was due.

As a first time buyer, I had no idea what to expect or what the process of buying a house would be. Everything was explained clearly and in a way I would understand. No question felt silly to ask. Communication was excellent, was easy and fast to get response whether that was through there app or by phone. Even when there was annual leave happening, my file was still being continued and overseen by others and moving forward. I would 100% recommend anyone, and I know I would not go anywhere else if I was to need there services again.

The whole process took 6 months, and here are definitely times where the causation is BLJ.
Wrong documents sent to me to sign rather than to Halton housing
Sending me documents to sign more than once
Charging me extra for shared ownership fee
Never returning a call when calling for updates
Both my seller and my buyer saying their solicitor advised it was BLJ causing hold up
Whilst the two people assigned were lovely, I feel BLJ is over worked with cases leaving no time for their customers
