Smooth house purchase.
Smooth and effortless experience with BLJ. As first time buyers my wife and I were concerned about the process and had many questions along the way. BLJ and our solicitor Chris Courtney kept in communications with us throughout and answered all of our questions. Everything was explained to us and the purchase was completed on time.
The app is very useful.

Conveyancing for House Sale
Whilst Bell, Lamb and Joynson did successfully carry out the legal work for the sale of our property, the process could have been better.
Most of the correspondence was carried out via email and app. There was very little advice offered and the process felt rather matter of fact.
Some minor errors did cause a slight worry, for example being given the wrong sale price for legal documents on two separate occasions. Also, I was simply told of an initial completion date, without any consultation, rather than be asked when we would like to complete.
I also felt that I had to make contact to get updates, rather than the solicitors being proactive about this.
All in all, whilst I'm happy that the sale went thorough, and the legal work was carried out successfully and in reasonable time, it was not the best experience. I probably would not use this company again.
