Peter completed his Police Station Accreditation at Datalaw in 2008. Peter has been an accredited Police Station Representative for several firms across the northwest, Cheshire, and North Wales and has also operated as a freelance consultant for 2 years. Peter encourages people to take up free representation during Police interviews and as an accredited representative, spends day and night at the police station assisting some of the most vulnerable people in society. He never tires of telling anyone who will listen, what happens in a police station will determine, on almost every occasion, how the case will run and how court proceedings can often be avoided if the right advice is given in the police station.

Brilliant Firm
Lamb, Bell and Joynson defended me when I was taken to trial for 5 very serious offences. After months of great work from them I ended with a not guilty verdict on all charges.
Peter Haney was a brilliant solicitor throughout. He was professional and very knowledgeable. I spoke with him multiple times, both in person and on teams, in the 18 months leading to the trail. He helped me through pre trial hearings and writing my defence statement. He was able to answer any questions I had and 2 weeks before my trial we had a long phone call where I was able to ask him all the questions I had on my mind. He was also a stabilising and calming figure as I waited for my verdict.
Lisa McNeill was my barrister during the trial and she is incredibly talented at her job. She ensured I understood every part of the trial as it was happening. Her cross examinations of each witness were thorough and her skills here were decisive on my eventual not guilty verdict. She was able to break down each piece of evidence detailing how it could be used in my defence and how the prosecution would use it against me. She also listened to my opinions on how to conduct the trial and I really felt as though I had a voice in my own defence.
On a personal level, I found Lisa and Peter to be lovely people who were a joy to be around despite the circumstances.
While I hope to never require the services of Bell, Lamb and Joynson again, it was an honour to be represented by such kind, intelligent and professional people.

Excellent service
Peter Haney was handling my case, from the moment I called I felt at ease and knew I was in safe hands. Nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his was to help me and explain everything so I could understand what was happening. Very happy I managed to find him.

Phenomenal!!
Peter Haney became our solicitor following my teenage sons arrest. After never having any legal dealings or knowledge of even the basic requirements or expectations, the fear of the unknown was overwhelming. However, nothing was too much for Peter! Lengthy calls with me to explain everything in the simplest form, the rapport and trust he took the time to build with my son and myself, especially during the most vulnerable time of our lives, I will forever be immensely grateful for. Peter treated us for the people and family we are and not for the charge my son was facing, and was always only a phone call away. Thanks again Peter!

I dont know where to begin … professional all the way … Peter Haney is a credit to the organisation. For 15 months or more I have been a nervous wreck , for every question I had Peter responded in the most courteous manner making no judgement. Peter responded immediately to every query I had and at times when I lost all composure he was very supportive. I would definitely recommend your services and if I needed them again I would not hesitate .

Supportive through everything!

Public order
