I have recently used Brights for my sale and purchase and as a repeat user I continue to be delighted by their service. Julie Milton has always been a support when things have been challenging as well as a very efficient lawyer. Her assistant Chloe was also excellent in keeping things moving along. For me they are simply the only firm to use when you need to either sell or buy a property. I would add that for them location is certainly not a problem as I have used them for Devon properties and also for London properties, with similar efficiency unaffected by location.

Can’t thank the team at Brights enough for their service!
Excellent and quick response to my initial quote enquiry, followed by a good continual flow of information and communication right throughout.
Calls to clients are invaluable as emails in this day and age can quickly get lost, so the follow up is very important.
Can’t fault Danya or Philip in their service and was very impressed with the speed and turnaround of my purchase!

Philip and Danya were great throughout our purchase of our new house. They provided a responsive and professional service and we were able to comoplete the whole process in just 7 weeks and therefore miss the increase in stamp duty deadline.

Conveyancing for the purchase of a new home
My wife and I purchased a new home for which Karen Andrews and her assistant Alexandra Knapman acted for us on the conveyancing. Karen and Alex were very quick to respond to get the process started with very clear instructions and communications by e-mail and by phone.
There were some complications with the purchase that Karen and Alex were able to provide solutions for very quickly. They were proactive in their communications with the other parties involved in the transaction. This was especially appreciated in the final days leading up to exchange and completion when the seller at the top of the chain was pronounced as being in end of life care and the chain had to be resolved quickly to allow the deal to happen. At all times Karen protected us from some suggestions made by other participants that would have left us potentially exposed to financial risk. We totally trusted Karen and her advice proved to be totally sound.
We ended up doing a simultaneous exchange and completion on the same day which I had never heard of but it protected us. Karen and the senior team at Bright solicitors provided sound, calm, and excellent advice against the backdrop of what was sometimes an emotive situation for some of the parties concerned. At all times we trusted Karen and the team at Bright Solicitors and we are very glad that we did so as we achieved our desired outcome of purchasing the property without exposing ourselves to risk.
Should we ever need conveyancing services again we would totally go with Bright Solicitors and Karen and Alex again. They were excellent and we could not have wished for a better service, with both Karen and Alex really going the extra mile to get the deal over the line under some emotive pressure from other participants.

I've had the pleasure of working with Bright Solicitors whilst refinancing a couple of my properties recently. I am so impressed with the service I received Rosie Johns and Jo Russell they were professional, efficient, and looked for solutions to expediate the process. We had a very tight deadline to get the refinancing over the line and I could not have done it without them. There were so proactive.

Avoid avoid avoid, used this company for moving house. They never kept us in the loop about what was happening, we always had to chase and chase. Promised paperwork one week, took 8 weeks to actually receive it. Put a complaint in and they said sorry, you need to fill in reems of forms to complain. There door was locked when I went to hand other paperwork over. I was made to feel like some sort of criminal when I dropped it off. Pay a little more and go somewhere else especially for something so important as a house move.....I would never use again.
