Conveyancing for 1st time purchase - amazing service
Our experience with Bright Solictors was positive. Karen & Alexandra were very good. They were responsive, and efficient and we never had to chase them. I would recommend them!

Conveyancing for the purchase of a new home
My wife and I purchased a new home for which Karen Andrews and her assistant Alexandra Knapman acted for us on the conveyancing. Karen and Alex were very quick to respond to get the process started with very clear instructions and communications by e-mail and by phone.
[See More]There were some complications with the purchase that Karen and Alex were able to provide solutions for very quickly. They were proactive in their communications with the other parties involved in the transaction. This was especially appreciated in the final days leading up to exchange and completion when the seller at the top of the chain was pronounced as being in end of life care and the chain had to be resolved quickly to allow the deal to happen. At all times Karen protected us from some suggestions made by other participants that would have left us potentially exposed to financial risk. We totally trusted Karen and her advice proved to be totally sound.
We ended up doing a simultaneous exchange and completion on the same day which I had never heard of but it protected us. Karen and the senior team at Bright solicitors provided sound, calm, and excellent advice against the backdrop of what was sometimes an emotive situation for some of the parties concerned. At all times we trusted Karen and the team at Bright Solicitors and we are very glad that we did so as we achieved our desired outcome of purchasing the property without exposing ourselves to risk.
Should we ever need conveyancing services again we would totally go with Bright Solicitors and Karen and Alex again. They were excellent and we could not have wished for a better service, with both Karen and Alex really going the extra mile to get the deal over the line under some emotive pressure from other participants.

First time buyer
I would definitely recommend Bright Solicitors to any first time buyers. Karen and Alex were helpful and efficient throughout and kept me informed at each stage of the process. They were quick to respond to my queries and explained things clearly. I would work with them again.

Highly Recommended
I cannot speak highly enough of Brights; they were so professional, timely, helpful in the sale of our home and purchase of a new home. They faced significant challenges (as did all of us) with our purchase due to the very different approach to service from those connected to the purchase we were making and I'm surprised their bill didn't come in at least double what it did as they appeared to have to do most things twice (or more) to get any response. They were really reasonably priced for the work that they did.

Sale of 5 Boringdon Park Woodlands Ivybridge
Whilst the sale of this property took longer than anticipated, including a last minute withdrawal by one purchaser.
