A Weight off our Shoulders
This review is for a different branch.
We approached Talbots for help with Probate and the administration of my father's estate- a very difficult and emotional time for us.
The whole process seems very overwhelming after the loss of a parent.
Holly has handled our case with sensitivity and clarity throughout. She was immediately approachable and efficient, and she lifted a weight off our shoulders with her knowledge and reassurance.
She swiftly progressed our case through Probate, and supported us through the ensuing administration of the estate, including tax and accounts.
Her range of advice was also helpful to us for some of the other associated tasks that we had to undertake.
Any time we had a query or concern, Holly has been quick to respond and resolve it.
Holly has shown empathy and professionalism throughout, and I would have no hesitation in recommending her and her team to others.

This review is for a different branch.
Was given a list of solicitors who specialise in shared ownership properties and these were on them. I instructed them to act on my behalf on 22nd August and sent them £400 as requested so they could start the local authority searches etc. The did not reply to my emails nor the sellers solicitors emails, I phoned them on 14th October and asked where they were upto and was told searches still not done so at this point I emailed them on 16th and 17th and instructed them so stop acting on my behalf immediately and as per usual no reply. I called them on Monday 21st and told them to stop as the new solicitors could not deal with the mortgage company as Talbots were still sending documents out. I phoned on 24th to clarify they had in fact stopped only to be told they had finally done the searches and that I would receive a partial refund and had the phone put down on me. I have since going Yell reviews about them and their lack of communication

I was a first time buyer understanding none of the conveyancing process. But Talbots Coventry were great and guided me through it all. Special shout out to Monica. Such a lovely lady who was amazing throughout. A few delays which she pushed and pushed for us in order to complete on the date we needed. Would highly recommend.

These guys were dealing with the sale of a property and some how lost the paperwork and had to redo the paperwork?!? This obviously caused delays and ended up costing myself more money. And not even a sorry. I am constantly having to chase them, I can see others have also had the same problem. Also I am concerned about the lack of communication.
