Talbots are supposed to be handling the purchase of our house and they have been nothing but a nightmare. Trying to get a hold of a person is difficult enough, as they're usually 'unavailable'
Then our case manager went on annual leave and no one thought to pass on our case.
We should have been moved in by the start of December at the latest, then we've said the 15th and that's still not looking likely as they've said it's probably going to be next year now.
THATS NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
I have had to postpone the start of a new job, which doesn't look great.
Talbots have had so much time, and yet, they've done absolutely nothing!

Currently using this firm for the sale of my property.All I can say is what a disappointment so far. Absolutely limited communication from them, dispite sending numerous emails and failed phone calls for updates We really need to complete by the end of this week and I have no guarantee it will happen.This whole experience has been exhausting and stressful and not enjoyable.
I would appreciate being contacted by the management to really help get this property sold by the end of this week. Its been almost 6 months now since started this simple process of selling a flat with no chain attached - cannot really understand why this is taking so long -deperate client

Currently using this firm for my sale and purchase of properties,all I can say is what a disappointment so far. Absolutely no communication from them,dispite sending numerous emails and failed phone calls for updates about either house. Even the agents have trouble getting through,I unfortunately have had to file a complaint against those working our case. I know they're not only working for us,but even a weekly update would be good and acknowledging emails sent.

They are unable to resolve issues internally, which has led to significant delays. The query is stuck with the compliance team, who apparently have not responded since October.
Everything else is done, and because of this one final step not being completed, we are having to move all of our belongings into storage. This has really soured our FTB experience and I genuinely feel so incredibly upset, the stress is really getting to us.
Having exhausted all our channels, we are now considering reporting them to the SRA or Legal Ombudsman.

I haven't moved house for over 20 years but I certainly don't remember it being as slick as this. A very smooth process and my stress levels were kept well in check. Patrick and Japjit were very helpful and easy to deal with.......Thank you both x

Talbots Stourbridge worked really hard with the legal work to sell our property for us, there was a few hurdles to get over but talbots Stourbridge finally got the job done, Sara (solicitor) and Sophie (paralegal) personally did a brilliant job for us in the end, I highly recommend this company for legal dealings. I’d like to thank them both for the job they did. I will definitely be using talbots Stourbridge in the near future.

Patrick and Japjit are a credit to Talbot's law nothing was never too much trouble in completing our house sale & purchase. This is the third time I've used Talbot's law and it's my go to solicitors. You might pay a bit more than others but you get 5* service I would recommend Talbot's for all your house needs
