Waiting in reception as solicitor came in. He stood talking to receptionist for couple of minutes with his back to me before side-glancing & gesturing towards a side room. Only began to speak when we sat down. Indifferent, cold; he reminded me of the archetype butler opening the mansion door in pre. war Gothic horror movies.

My experience with HCR Law and in particular Lisa Harper was excellent, excellent, excellent!
Lisa steered expertly and in a calm, balanced and fair manner the stormy waters of a property with issues, and uncooperative and uncommunicative buyer's solicitor, and joint executors who didn't see eye to eye. She provided exactly what you want from your conveyancer. Speedy response to emails or telephone messages, calm, friendly, professional, regular updates, good knowledge, team work with the estate agent, and the willingness to go the extra mile when needed. Despite the challenges, Lisa was able to complete the sale on what at times looked fragile sale.
In short, Lisa was superb.

Carla and her team worked very diligently and professionally to secure our property despite numerous challenges, and throughout the purchase were able to provide a very strong, and formidable force working on our behalf. Carla is extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the law, and manages her work leaving "no stone unturned" and therefore very detailed in her approach, which has always given us 100% confidence in her capabilities. Carla is very easy to work with, "down to earth" and a superb ambassador for her clients - we could not wish for a better all round service, and would throughly recommend her services to anyone seeking the very best conveyancing service at an affordable price.
