First house sale
Alice supported us through the sale of our first house. She kept us up to date and in the loop with all aspects of the sale and when extra information was requested Alice was fast to act. Alice was approachable and was timely with her communications. We would highly recommend Alice and will be using her again when the time comes.

Good results of an awkward sale
Sold a flat through HCR Law. It had many challenges as was on the 6th floor and there are now many more regulations on it than when I bought it. The freeholder also changed halfway through the sale and there were other unexpected issues. Alice Gathern kept the whole process moving and kept me up to date with developments. She was easy to get in touch with and always stopped to help when needed, talking me through how to fill out the more complicated forms, clearly explaining the issues and calming me down when I panicked over one particular issue. After all the challenges that arose, I didn’t think the flat would sell, but it did and I’m very grateful to Alice and her team for keeping it moving.

Very professional and efficient
We have used Hewitsons for almost 35 years and whilst not the cheapest are incredibly professional and take out some of the stress of a house move. It’s important when spending so much on your next house that you trust your solicitor. The last house move went very quickly without issues thanks to Alice Gathern at HCR Hewitsons. Thanks Alice

Professionally managing the property sale
We have sold and purchased a number of properties in the last few years and Alice has acted on our behalf for all of these. Alice manages the process proactively and ensures that the other parties' legal team provide timely and accurate responses.
Personally I find that what can be a stressful activity is made much more comfortable because of the confidence I have in Alice handling this in a professional and efficient manner.

Excellent Property Advice
The solicitor worked late into the Christmas period to enable us to move forward with this purchase. She was very approachable and knowledgeable, and understood quickly the particular issues concerning this purchase.
