Conveyancing for house move from Guildford to Cranleigh

We received an excellent conveyancing service for our recent house move. The solicitors initial response to our request for a quote was very politely and efficiently dealt with, and all communication by email and telephone from then on was dealt with in a very timely, professional and thorough manner. We always felt that the solicitors were doing their best to guide us through what can be quite a stressful process, which was very welcome. We would certainly recommend their services to anyone moving home.

Got the job done but communication was poor

At no point during the process did I ever have any contact with the solicitor who was apparently assigned to my case. Despite asking on a couple of occasions it was difficult to get a progress update.
The approach was piecemeal where one document would be requested and as soon as that one was received, a different one would be asked for. This was an inefficient way to work . There was no consideration that I was a power of attorney for my aunt so couldn’t necessarily access each document easily nor had the time to do so. How hard would it have been to just ask for all the documents required upfront? Customer focus was certainly lacking. At one point I hand delivered the power of attorney documents to their offices and despite being present no one other than the receptionist bothered to speak to me.
Things speeded up towards the end almost as if Izzy Lambert was suddenly empowered to manage the process (even though she is not actually listed as a solicitor at the practice).
The job was delivered with no problems but I wouldn’t rush to recommend them mainly due to poor communication throughout.

Great property conveyancing (Sale and Purchase)

Very happy to recommend this firm, every person that I had contact with was helpful and responsive. They kept me informed of progress, told me clearly when I needed to do something and what, and if I needed to call or email for updates or clarification they were very responsive. Having people who actually answer the phone or call you back promptly was the big difference with my previous experience of a conveyancing solicitor. Thanks go especially to Jo who was my main point of contact, and also to Lorna and Denise.

Excellent conveyancing service

Grace provided an exceptional level of support and professional advice throughout a longwinded and frustrating sales process on my leasehold house. Communication was excellent throughout the whole process and I am not sure whether the sale would have completed without her professionalism and patience.
I am purchasing a new build house for which Grace has also carried out the conveyancing with the same high standards and I have every confidence that completion, later this year, will be smoothly managed.

Took ten years to deal with my mums estate. Horrific communication which added to the upset and stress of an already very difficult time in our lives. Would not wish them on the worst of people let alone a grieving family.

I used Clifton Ingram for conveyancing services for the sale of my late mother's house and the purchase of a new build property. I found Lorna, Denise and Linda approachable, professional and efficient. They were also supportive when I had some hurdles to overcome due to probate timings and pressure from the new build developers, and kept things on track. I was very pleased with the service I received and would recommend this team.

Clifton Ingram have been selling two houses for us and helping purchase another (which is a pretty complex off-plan purchase). Throughout they have been nothing other than professional, kind, helpful and extremely efficient. Always easy to contact and quick to reply. I would totally recommend their services.
