Conveyancing of my late father’s estate.

I dealt with both the Reading office in regard to my late mother and father’s wills. Also the Wokingham office regarding the sale of my father’s property. Both offices were very professional. Most importantly with the sale of the property they were prompt, picking up errors in the other parties legal firm.

Chloe Seager was always, quick to respond, a credit to the firm.

Highly professional and great service

Both Elaine and Chloe were excellent. They responded in a timely manner. Gave clear and concise instructions / explanations to questions. They progressed matters quickly and efficiently and were always happy to take calls / emails. Would highly recommend them, especially as this transaction was quite tortuous and protracted (caused by other parties). Thank you

Urgent commercial sale

I had to switch solicitors at late notice as my original solicitor didn't have the commercial experience required.
I was recommended to approach Clifton Ingram for help.
The deadline I asked them to work to was only two and a half weeks to complete a complex transaction with multiple contracts.
My sale was dealt with by Matthew Bell who made this his top priority, and was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and even though he had limited time, he ensured I had everything covered.
I'd highly recommend him in any commercial context and even the purchasers solicitor were impressed with how thorough and responsive he was.
Additionally the fees were very good value for the amount of work involved.

Absolutely phenomenal conveyancer

Lesley Quinn acted for me in quite a complicated sale and purchase. I am legally qualified myself, but she was ahead of me every step of the way, handling everything with sensitivity and attention to detail. This is the second time I have used her and would highly recommend her. She's absolutely excellent.

Very Professional Throughout

My experience of Clifton Ingram has been uniformly positive. My lawyer was clear in her communications with me, always quick to respond, proactive in following up enquiries and in hastening tardy responses from other parts of the chain. I was always confident that she was doing all that could be done at each stage of the process. She was approachable, good humoured and I felt supported through what is, for a layperson, a complex and unfamiliar task. My contacts with other representatives also reflected this consideration and professionalism. In sum, I was pleased that I chose this firm.

I was actually dealing with Jo Reader who was handling the sale of a property by auction. What a fantastic change to deal with a solicitor who answers your emails quickly, keeps you in the loop, gets back to you as promised, has an informal attitude and a sense of humor. An outstanding example of the professional she represents.

This was our first time buying a house and I'm so glad we had Jo as our solicitor. She was an absolute dream to work with! Everything was handled professionally and promptly and we were kept in the loop always.
Jo was so supportive and answered any and all questions we had about the process.

Cannot recommend Clifton Ingram enough.
Thank you Jo!

My third time purchasing property and how I wish I'd discovered this law firm sooner!

Jennifer, Lesley and Claire worked on my purchase and I cannot think of a single fault. They were responsive to everything in a timely manner, got the sale through thoroughly and to the date I wanted. It generally felt like they were really working in my best interest (I wasn't just another number).

Being a local law firm was clearly evident, as their knowledge was exceptional.

Highly recommend Clifton Ingram!

I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer Thomas at Clifton Ingram in Wokingham. Jennifer was extremely professional and very knowledgeable in relation to helping me buy my new property. I had previously used the company before selling my late mother's property. I can not recommend this company highly enough. They are a pleasure to work with and will definitely use them again.
