I was represented in a child Arrangement Case by Beth Sheridan who works for Stowe Family Law. From the initial contact with this law firm I received the best service and advice.
Beth was fully engaged in the case and she worked hard to get all the facts communicated to the courts clearly. The fact that this case was dealt with in 2021 during the covid lock down period, made it impossible to meet in person and discuss the case.
However, I did not feel left out at any point as Beth was always available to respond to emails or telephone messages.
Dealing with Stowe Solicitors and especially Beth, helped to give my family confidence to continue with life during a very difficult time when my daughter had just been diagnosed with a serious medical condition. I cant thank Stowe solicitors enough and would like to commend them for a job well done.

I went with Stowe Family Law because of their reviews. Don’t believe any of them because they are the worst. Keep as far away from Florence Ashcroft-Lane in the Nottingham office as you can. They say they build the right team around you, with compassion and care. But Florence was nothing but argumentative, money driven and showed no care towards my case. She would send 3 or 4 emails (charged for each email) for the same thing, just to make more money. You would hear nothing from them and completely unreachable on the phone. Yet when they want money from you, you instantly get a reply. Clearly myself and Florence didn’t see eye to eye on my case and when I asked to change solicitor they dropped me and took all my money. Is this building the right team for you?
PLEASE DON’T EVER USE THIS FIRM AS THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DROP YOU.

before I was with Stow Family Law i had almost 2 years of legal incompetence that caused major anxiety and depression, going through a divorce is a mine field, doing it with a poor legal firm breaks your sole. I was fortunate enough to be told of the incompetence and recommended to talk to Stowe family law. from my very first meeting it felt right, it wasn't just the legal advise! it was also the caring nature that the deal with you during a period of venerability. cheap isnt best! my only advise to any one having to face a divorce is always talk to Stowe Family Law first.

I have been overwhelmed with the support and compassion shown by both Sarah McLoughlin and the team at the Nottingham office who took care of the finer details of my divorce, as well as Lucy Mackinnon who took care of the court proceeding side of the divorce.
Their levels of compassion and support were unwavering and it is abundantly clear the team understand exactly how emotionally and mentally draining these kinds of issues can be and were always there to guide, advise and support.

Beth Sheridan represented me in the negotiation of a financial settlement with my ex partner re our shared interest in our joint owned property. Friendly, timely, frank and professional advice was what I needed, and that's exactly what was provided. Good value for money IMO.
I was impressed by Beth and Stowe's modern working practices, especially the way they have embraced modern comms technology; this made the whole process of having meetings and filing documents fast and efficient. This experience being very different to the outdated ways of working most other legal firms have, and is far more compatible with the way many Government agencies are moving. Some will always need face to face and paper documents, but for many of us leading busy modern lives, being able to email, zoom, FaceTime, scan & electronically sign documents, etc makes life so much easier.
Would definitely recommend Beth and Stowe; and they would be my first port of call if I were to have a need for similar legal services in the future.

I would like to share my thanks to Beth Sheridan for her support with my initial consultation. There is lots of common misconception and false information when it comes to protecting your assets when relationships turn sour. At this time, you need a good listener who shows empathy and compassion but most importantly has a wealth of knowledge and experience, so that you feel comfortable discussing your situation. Beth helped me to understand the process of pursuing my case so that I could make an informed decision about the best course of action.
Based on my experiences so far, I would absolutely recommend Beth and her team at Stowe Family Law.
