The solicitor I had helping my case was absolutely amazing. Courtney Rooney took really great care of advising me and helping me with every bit of form needed to be completed properly. She made sure I had everything in place and always had my best interest at heart.
A lovely and compassionate person, who always fitted my appointments around my schedule.
The receptionists at the office in Cheltenham also very helpful and welcoming.
So overall a really good solicitors firm.
The only reason I am giving it a 4 star instead of 5 is because although my case was a very easy straight forward divorce case, I found the charges fees to be overly high. And I'm talking about thousands of pounds. So I struggled from that point of view.
But once started I didn't have the energy to shop around.
So yes, a good experience but overly expensive.

I highly recommend Stowe Family Law and particularly my solicitor, Kate Rayner, who handled my case (before and throughout the pandemic) with great professionalism and attention to detail. Kate is sensitive and knowledgeable, and with her many years of experience she gave me a strong sense of security as she helped me navigate my divorce. I followed her suggestions and reached a satisfying financial agreement with my ex that I wouldn’t have achieved without her advice. I found myself in a devastating unexpected separation also having serious concerns regarding my sons welfare I was at a loss what to do but I spoke to Rebecca Coates with her understanding knowledge and expertise
In hindsight she was a God send amazing professional diligent and showed great empathy and a genuine interest to help you. I can not recommend her enough she has helped support me into a position now where I am in a great place with good access to my son and my son in a much safer and secure place than when in the marriage and with great prospects on the horizon

For 18 months of my divorce process I had been rubbing along with a law firm that was painfully slow, unresponsive, I was being fobbed off with excruciating excuses for shoddy practice. It seemed like I was getting nowhere whilst my husband was treating me appallingly. I approached Kate Rayner at Stowe Family Law, who quietly listened to my completely stressed ramblings of getting nowhere with my divorce from my coercively controlling, emotionally abusive husband. Her response was a resounding and very definite,Yes! Of course we can help! From then on I was on a fast moving, action packed journey.
Kate quickly identified this as a ‘needs’ case, she organised and approved a legal loan for me and the first FDR appointment was just 4 weeks later!
Kate Recruited Simon Rowbotham as Counsel with experience of coercively abusive divorces; they become my phenomenal team and went on to represent me on four further hearings throughout the following year. Kate is an ‘action’ person, a stickler for precision, accuracy and efficiency. I had to step up too, Kate is a taskmaster(in a good way), information needed from me had to be in, up to scratch and on time!
Kate, Simon and I worked as a team, I was in no doubt that they genuinely cared about my future and were striving for my best interest at all times. They manoeuvred around Lockdown in unprecedented times.
My Team secured a Just and Victorious conclusion for me in December 2020.
I have and will continue to recommend Kate Rayner to anyone needing a divorce lawyer and Simon Rowbotham as Counsel.
