Megan and Lydia walked me through a redundancy process through to the final outcome. I felt like communication was clear, simple to understand and never felt like I had to chase to get a response. I would like to say a big thank you to both Zoe and Lucy for the first class service they provided throughout our buying and selling process.
The sale in particular was by no means an easy transaction due to the ongoing difficulties experienced with our buyers solicitor. Despite this we always felt confident that everything from our side was being dealt with professionally and Zoe and Lucy kept us updated and informed at all times. All in all they provided an excellent, friendly and courteous customer service hence our 5 star review.

Steer clear of this law firm. My experience with Stuart Ruff started off promisingly, only for us to overshoot the initial estimate by 3x, with charges accrued for every minuscule communication effort. Despite requesting an end to this, it continued.
Numerous typographical errors were evident in their documents, including incorrect agreement dates and participant names.
Complicating matters further, I started receiving bills from Kimberley Deane and Jennifer Scoates, whom I hadn't been previously introduced to. The bills were unclear and their accompanying letters quickly turned aggressive, despite a prior agreement of a one-time payment. Their comments, such as threats of court proceedings if payment wasn't received within 14 days, were unsettling. Here is an example: “Unless payment is received within 14 days from the date of this letter, the debt will be passed to our Debt Collection Department who may issue court proceedings for recovery of the sum due without further notice.”.
I compiled and made the payments, but these unexpected invoices continued to arrive. The firm's departments seemed disconnected with poor internal communication and an aggressive attitude towards paying clients.
Their current rating doesn't reflect my experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice. My hope is that their rating will change to prevent others from enduring similar frustrations.

I engaged Adrian Whichcord and his team, in the Sevenoaks office, for some conveyancing work on the sale of a property. I received excellent and professional service throughout the process, and they managed to meet a very demanding timescale of offer through to exchange in 25 working days. Communication throughout the process was excellent and they were always quick to respond to any queries. I've done a lot of property transactions over the years and the service Thackray's provided is the best I have ever received. Their professional fees are also competitive. I would not hesitate to use them again, or reccomend them to others.
