Sarah-Lyn Strong worked tirelessly to support me in a disputed capacity case both before and during a Court of Protection hearing. Sarah-Lyn at all times demonstrated a caring and sensitive attitude that helped me to feel that someone was in my side during a very difficult legal process.
I had confudence that with Sarah-Lyn's support and that if the barristers she instructed we would eventually win my case, which we did! It was complex and brutal but I survived it in no small part because of the legal support I received. But it was not just the excellent legal advice and representation that was invaluable. Primarily I would recommend Sarah-Lyn to anyone seeking a solicitor who needs representation from someone capable of managing with compassion, a client with severe mental health issues.

I found emg to be a very friendly and efficient place generally but Gemma always gave me very well informed and clear legal advice. She was always efficient and timely with her responses and was very calm when the case became more complicated and unpleasant. Initially, I did not know what to expect from a solicitor within a family law context but Gemma certainly exceeded those expectations, and I will always be grateful to her for this. Absolutely appalling…avoid at all costs.

My buyer is using this solicitor and they are completely unresponsive, we have a no chain straightforward sale which is now in its SIXTH month, costing me thousands and these people will not respond to mine, my buyer or my conveyancers calls or emails. Even the director will only give us a “I’ll look into it”

My own conveyancer is not much better but they were ready to complete two weeks ago yet couldn’t get ahold of EMG for a week, now another week has gone by with no response besides “we are finalising the buyers source of income”.

Reading other reviews it looks like nothing is going to happen this side of Christmas, which will cause me massive financial stress on top of just having a newborn baby.

I do not understand why we have had this experience since there are many 5 star reviews but perhaps my account of this disappointing service might help move things forward for us. I see some reviews have been responded to.

If things are going to take so many months at least be upfront with customers rather than blatant ignorance?
