I used Ramsden LLP for a house purchase as a buy to let (BTL).
If you want the continued stress of constantly having to chase up your solicitor then this is the company for you.
1) Very slow (over 2-weeks at times) to respond despite mortgage offer expiring.
2) No cover when solicitor goes on annual leave, everything just stops instead.
3) Untruths told by Ramsden LLP, blaming others for delays.
4) Poor due diligence - Solicitor didn't pick up on the fact the property had no Electrical Safety Certificate (a legal requirement for BTL property).
5) AFTER completion they chased me for an additional 10k due to an error they made in the financial completion statement.
Make what you will of this... I certainly will not be using them again.

We recently used Ramsdens Solicitors for their conveyancing services to sell our Mum's house after she passed away last year. From start to finish I have nothing but good to say about the company and specifically Amber and Tyler!!
Everything was first class whether that was communication over the phone, email or on their bespoke portal to the ease with which I could submit documents and their general attitude, they were always available and explained everything clearly in plain English not legal jargon.
I don't often leave reviews but had to with this team, we will definitely use them in the future and recommend to friends.

In late July 2021, I approached Ramsdens Solicitors for their conveyancing services towards purchase of a small house in Buckinghamshire, not far from London. With barely two months to stamp duty deadline, I made the impossible request for completion by September.
Though I was a small client with a limited budget, they allocated the resources needed to get the job done by the deadline. The team of Conveyancer, Solicitor and support staff, worked with speed, efficiency and professionalism that exceeded my expectations. The IT system/portal was user friendly with easy access to documentation and a transparent progress tracking system. For persons who are not literate on legal matters such as myself, the clarifications whenever requested, was quite helpful as well. Am much obliged to Ramsdens for the overall quality of their services.

I can't speak highly enough of the incredible service provided by Ivana Bailey at Ramsdens Solicitors. When my family was faced with the overwhelming task of sorting out the estate of our deceased Aunt, Ivana stepped in and supported us every step of the way. From the very first consultation, her professionalism, empathy, and expertise were evident.
Ivana meticulously managed all aspects of the estate, ensuring that every detail was attended to with the utmost care and precision. She and her Team handled complex legal matters with ease, always keeping us informed and explaining everything in a clear, understandable manner. Used Ramsdens services for the sale of my property, despite having every issue thrown our way, Jordan and Maria were always brilliant and professional dealing with every problem. Spoke to a very nice lady this morning, was told I was going to get a call back. A few hours passed and I did not receive a call. Hence called back to ask when I could expect this call. Instead was faced with a very rude switchboard, who told me that the solicitors do not have time to call me! This was shortly followed by a call by the solicitor 'Emily'- who only called to defend the switchboard, she failed to ask what even happened! Offered no apology instead spoke to me in an unacceptable and unprofessional manner and raised her voice. I will be taking this matter ahead. I would advice clients to seek help elsewhere. There is no respect or professionalism here.

Made an enquiry for some legal work a couple of weeks ago. The receptionist took my contact details and said someone would contact me soon. Two weeks on and nobody has bothered to follow it up with me. I sincerely hope the quality of their response to an approach for business isn’t representative of the standard of their legal work!
