House Sale

Laura, William and Andrew organised our sale with a friendly politeness and it went through with minimal problems. I found the online portal a little unforgiving but we easily worked around that. Good easy process so recommended.

If you want to put your children first and focus on finding solutions in their best interests, then avoid this company. They're more interested in delaying proceedings so they can rake in as much money as possible out of the legal aid pot.

I have working in London commercial property for over 30 years and I have used several large London based firms for property work over that time. I switched to Ramsdens a couple of years ago and Gwen Sharp has been fantastic leading on all my companies large and small transactions. Gwen always has time for a call, is highly professional and great to work with.

I used Rhianne Taylor for my divorce & Joanne Canning/Scott Aked for my remortgage and the service was seamless. All three people I dealt with were incredibly patient and helpful and managed to get everything through for me on my tight deadline. They were very communicative and responsive and always there to help with the many questions I had. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Truly ABYSMAL Divorce lawyer service.AVOID at all cost.
I started my divorce proceedings with a Ramsden's Lawyer who ,half way through dropped it on me that she was retiring with 5days notice.
After i'd spent months of time & thousands of pounds giving her the details of my finances, assets &divorce details, I was told via email she was retiring.
On many occasions i was charged again & again for supplying them with information i had already given them.First the supplied information was lost by an office junior person who had then changed departments. This resulted in me having to duplicate already submitted bank account statements & many emails of information & being charged over & again.Clearly a tactic to ramp up their fees.A con.
I was paying very high premium for a lawyer i had researched & had specifically chosen to carry out the process.
She was disinterested, lacked motivation , compassion & care.Im not convinced the reviews on her were genuine given the diabolical service I received. The only time her interest was shown was when she wanted the invoices paying.I now know this is Ramsden's only priority when dealing with their customers/clients.They even threaten you with interest charges if your payment is delayed.I'm not even sure this is legal. They also encourage you to set up direct debits so they can take your money monthly rather than for actual work done as per invoices.
At the begging of her service i was paying £196 +VAT per hour for the particular lawyer i had researched & carefully selected.I spent months paying her to process all my information.
On the 23rd December 22 i received an email from her saying her hourly rate was going up to £260+VAT from 1st of January.Within 2months of this massive price increase I received another email informing me she was retiring in 5 days and my case was passed on to someone else.To someone i hadn't researched or chosen to assist me with my divorce proceedings & who had no idea of my circumstances.
Worse still all the information i had previosly submitted was misplaced again & i had to start over again with a new person & pay all over again to resubmit all my information.
This also wasted much time and caused great frustration to the opposing solicitors who were awaiting the information for the upcoming proceedings.
So Ramsden's absolutely breathtaking incompetence was making it look like i was delaying proceedings.I met with my soon to be ex wife several times to explain that the solicitors were messing me around. She agreed that they were using stalling tactics to maximise their profits from our case.
i repeatedly contacted Ramsden's to tell them what an atrocious service i was been provided with, & they were only interested in anything to do with me paying their invoices rather than sorting the problems.
I paid all invoices on time.Paying again to duplicate information i'd already provided at different times to different people. It was the most
frustrating stressful experience.
I was asked for & charged for information that wasn't even relevant or used.A disgraceful tactic to ramp up fees. There was no care or consideration for the awful impact this was having on my health and well being. They did not listen to or read the information correctly and errors were made continuously.
When the divorce case finally got to court, the barrister Ramsden's recommended to me was truly terrible.
I had been given a statement by Ramsden's.They said the barrister had prepared the plans.I read them & thought it was reasonable & may help achieve a fair outcome financially.
I paid £2000 upfront for the barrister for half a day.On the day in court she had no idea of any of the details & it was clear that she had not prepared anything for my case.I was lied to by Ramsdem's.
She achieved a terrible outcome financially.Afterwards the barrister refunded me half the fee due to the abysmal service. Ramsden's should refund the £20,000 duped from me for such an abysmal service too.I estimate they lost me nearly £100,000 in the outcome due to incompetance.
