One of the best conveyancing experiences

We selected Ramsdens Solicitors amongst many that gave us quotations for a property refinance. They were professionalism even at the quotation stage, and the fees were very competitive. It was great a decision we made and we are happy with how quickly and efficiently they conducted our affairs.
We use them again for sure.

Some solicitors are better than others

This review is for a different branch.

Last time I moved I used Ramsdens to both buy and sell and I found both solicitors efficient and diligent. This time around though I had a lazy solicitor who did little more than relay information parrot fashion leaving me to decipher what response to take. My advice for anyone considering using Ramsdens for conveyancing is to check out the reviews on the profile of the individual solicitor you are to be assigned - the good ones will already have good client reviews, the not so good ones probably won't have any reviews. Its not the firm but the individual solicitor that makes or breaks your experience.

Beth dealt with the estate of my late father, including the will and LPA. The support and advice she gave was excellent. The empathy and compassion she showed myself and my Mum was excellent at such a difficult time. She put us at ease and took time to explain everything.She dealt with things timely and efficiently.

Ramsdens Solicitors in Holmfirth have been absolutely fantastic in handling the sale of my property. They are extremely organised and always on top of everything—you never need to chase them as they’re already ahead of the game and keep you well-informed throughout.

The team is diligent and professional, with excellent communication delivered in a friendly and approachable manner. They keep the sale moving smoothly, prompt you on anything you need to do, and stay on top of any potential hold-ups.

Altogether, it was a great experience—one of the best I’ve had. I have no hesitation in recommending Ramsdens Solicitors for their outstanding service!

We can’t recommend this firm highly enough. They’re the best solicitors we’ve ever used and we’ve gone through multiple house purchases and sales. Laura, Andrew and William provided an exceptional service and we never had to chase anything once. All communications were prompt and mainly via email and the online portal saved so much time at the start.

Cannot tell you how slow they are… staff go on holiday and your life is on hold as apparently ‘no-one else can deal with it’. So far back in time with regards to conveyancing.
