My wife and I attended an interview with Rachel Brinkley, Smith & Co Solicitors, to write new Wills. Rachel is very knowledgeable and professional and took us through the various steps. These steps were explained very well. We were given plenty of time to ask questions and seek clarification. When you find a good one they are stuck with you for life!

My family and I have moved many times over the years and to be honest one of the most stressful parts has always been dealing with solicitors, their lack of accountability, poor communication, not meeting deadlines etc etc.
I can say without question that this last journey of house moving has been so different. Claire had been exceptional with communication, proactive in chasing other parties, continued support and guidance throughout the sale of my parents home. She has gone above and beyond to ensure our sale has been as stress free as possible and it has been appreciated beyond words.
There aren’t many recommendations I make in life but in this instance I would 100% recommend Smith & Co to anyone wanting a first class service. Thank you to the team and especially to Claire for getting us through the sale.

I used Smith and Co solicitors in Felixstowe and was pleased that I did. Both Claire and Jenny were very helpful, approachable and easy to communicate with. They answered my questions promptly and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others. I found being able to go into the office to deliver documents and on occasions speaking directly to Jenny and Claire made the whole process fell more relaxed. Claire in particular gave me confidence that my sale would happen at a time when I struggled to believe we would ever exchange contracts.

Awful service. Called to give them some business as my HTB loan is ending and I need a conveyancer. Ended up being hung up on.

And before you reply and claim I'm not a client like you have with every other 1 star review... I was 5 years ago when I bought my flat! And you were awful then as well!

However, the reality has been disappointing and we have made the decision to stop using it, returning to clients having direct telephone and email contact with their conveyancer. It seems personal service can't always be replaced by technology. Taking the time to leave us a review has made a difference to our future clients and our business - thank you.
