Efficient as always, Gemma was very kind and understanding as I was making a new will as my husband had passed on. 25/12/23 . It is important that only my younger daughter inherits as her sister will just give it away to the first drug taking person she meets - as in our previous will .. Lack of Communication

I recently employed the services of two solicitors working for Ringrose Law. The first dealt with the writing of my will, probate and implementing a Lasting Power of Attorney, I have been very happy with the service provided by this solicitor. The second solicitor is dealing with the first registration of my property with regards to the Land Registry, I instructed her in October 2024, paid the relevant fee and provided the necessary documents, since then I had heard nothing. On 3rd January, using the chat facility I enquired about an update but received no answer, therefore on 16th January I rang the office and was informed that the process could take until May 2026 to complete, surely I should have been informed of this situation considering the extraordinary length of time this process is likely to take. As this review considers two different solicitors I have not completed the grid that asks for the statements that best describe the firm to be highlighted.

Initial chat was OK and the lady, Farah, was supportive and professional. However, for a reason that doesn't make sense, they refused to delete sensitive data that was sent as part of the enquiry. It seems they are spending a lot of time to keep this private data despite them saying legally they only need to keep very basic information. For this reason I wouldn't recommend this firm.
