Consent order

I was made to feel that Ringrose law were not on my side.

Information given to me was poor. Eg, meeting in July didn’t offer crucial information about applying for CEV This was presented to me in September. Therefore causing a significant delay in proceedings.

Your office recorded my telephone number incorrectly, so you couldn’t ring me.
The company added to my stress rather than make the process easier. The personal interactions not conducted in a particularly friendly manner. Staff could have been more understanding and conciliatory.

Awful

Represented me at my FIRST hearing then stuck with them to represent me at trial only for them for telling me a week before my trial they couldn't represent me because they thought it was the first hearing . Absolutely fuming and let me down massively now struggling to find a solicitor to represent me in 4 days from now. Please avoid .

Property Sale - Boston

Advised very early in the Sales process unable to respond to Ring Rose Law's emails, as 'bouncing back' . Requested any communications were by post or phone, when we spoke on a few occasions after this advised 'Well we sent you an email about this' ! Were there not notes on my file to this effect? or notes even read?
We hand delivered Documents including Property Deeds, Gas Safety Certificate and Warranty details for Windows, Roof and insulation along with filled in Questionnaire at weekend into Post Box at Boston Offices. Advised by Paige 16.45 on following Friday these had NOT been received and had we delivered to another Branch, not Boston?
Never called back following Monday as promised as would double check not in Building, till I chased on Tuesday and advised yes these documents had been found, I had to chase Paige on this and other occasions despite being advised she would call me back !
Buyers Solicitors had been advised it was my fault that things were not moving, my Estate Agents were chasing me, I advised them that these 'Missing' Documents had been previously hand delivered.
Late in the process when we were ready to go I was told the buyer's Solicitors were to request funds from buyers Mortgage providers which would take week or so. Previously advised buyer was ready to proceed.

Would never use again

My experience with Ringrose law has left a very bad taste in my mouth. The whole process took over 2 years even though the situation had been agreed in the first 2 months. The costs were ridiculous and I couldn’t keep track of what I was being charged for as information came from 3 different sources. I had a couple of heated telephone conversations with my solicitor who I have never met in person . I put in a complaint a month ago and have heard nothing. I feel totally ripped off by this company.

Wonderful Solicitors to work with

I have been a client for a couple of years and there is a consistency of staff, so your case is well known. Everything is always explained to me, and what outcomes could happen in court. Polite and professional staff who also hold space for emotional responses. I would highly recommend.

I would like to share my brief experience working with a solicitor from this firm Paulette Watson, but unfortunately, it was not a positive one. Right from the start, there was miscommunications between another firm, which led to a tense and unpleasant interaction. Despite being the victim in my case, the solicitor approached me with anger and was extremely abrupt in her manner.

During our brief conversation, she referred to my case as a "mess" and made me feel inadequate, even though the situation was not my fault. This left me feeling deflated and embarrassed, especially considering the already challenging circumstances and my desperation surrounding my unexpected legal case.

While I understand that solicitors have the right to decline cases that they don't believe are a good fit, I firmly believe that there is a better way to handle such situations. It would have been more appropriate if she had communicated her decision with empathy and grace, rather than exacerbating my feelings of distress.

Thankfully, another solicitor took over my case the following day and managed it with ease and settled within days which actually was a very quick prompt communication between firms. They displayed understanding and quickly resolved the matter, leaving me relieved. This stark contrast in approach highlighted just how poorly the previous solicitor handled the situation.

Looking ahead, I sincerely hope that this solicitor can learn from this experience and approach similar situations with more empathy and grace, particularly when declining cases for personal reasons and are in need. It is crucial to remember that clients are often going through difficult times, and a compassionate approach can make a significant difference in their overall experience.

Great experience with Jacqueline Ross from Boston Branch.
She kept us informed and was very professional. We bought a house in a modern auction with a 56 day exchange . Despite the poor communication from the seller's solicitor and IamSold team, Jacqueline did an amazing job.
Highly recommend to everyone.
