Clear and consistent communication

Chris and I can’t rate Tollers highly enough. As first time buyers we felt like a deer in headlights but Louise and the team really put us at ease. The team moved quickly and communicated with us throughout the process. They offered advice and understanding. We will definitely use Tollers again.

Our Recent Property Sale

Louise Wilson and her team member Caitlin Dullaghan acted in our recent house sale.
The transaction was largely dealt with by and our main point of contact was Caitlin.
Although the transaction was fairly straightforward, there was an element of time constraint. It was evident that Caitlin was aware of this pressure throughout the process and she was proactive in managing expectations and liaising effectively and efficiently with all parties. Any questions raised by us were dealt with, not only professionally but also and equally importantly, using a ‘common sense’ and ‘real life’ approach which was greatly appreciated by us. Thank you Louise & Caitlin.

Excellent for a first-time buyer!

Kirsten was fantastic. As a first time buyer, I felt like I probably had more questions than most, but Kirsten didn’t make it feel like anything was too big of an ask. Prompt and helpful responses always.

Kirsten was helping me with a slightly more complicated mortgage and explained everything clearly to me. She was also constantly chasing up the sellers for me and keeping me updated on what was going on.

Everybody always says the legal side of buying a house is stressful but I couldn’t disagree more. Would highly recommend Tollers and Kirsten to anybody in the future!

Tiffany Benson

I was put in contact with Tiffany Benson in July 2022 relating to a problem I had with a Trust. I had spent 12 months dealing with another company and was appalled at the lack of progress. Tiffany Benson explained clearly the procedure involved and gave me advice / options as to how to progress. As a result, she has completed my request satisfactorily. She has answered all my queries promptly and informed me regularly as to the progress being made. Her help has been invaluable to say the least and I highly recommend her services.

Fantastic service

We have used Tollers for previous house sales and purchases but never have we been more grateful for their professionalism and expertise as our most recent experience. Through no fault of anyone's, the sale and purchase became protracted and the ongoing support, advice and expertise ensured we were constantly advised of the latest positions and genuinely felt at all times that David and his team were working hard to ensure a successful outcome. And they achieved this in spite of the deadline of Christmas close down approaching and a last minute hitch in the purchase - we cannot speak highly enough of Tollers!

Sale of house

I recently had to sell my late mother's house and this all went so smoothly thanks to the help of Louise and her team at Tollers in Corby. They also have offices at Kempston in Bedford and Northampton which made delivering and signing documentation a lot easier.
I would highly recommend them for your conveyancing.

Would not hesitate to recommend

We have been delighted with the successful outcome of our case which has been represented by Heather throughout, which was to enable us to proceed with our planning permission by gaining modification of restrictive covenants. Our case was a very complex one and it needed someone with extensive knowledge and experience. She went into detail from the onset and made us aware of the risks that were involved at all stages. Heather gave us confidence with her professional and knowledgeable approach and ensured all the correct legal steps were taken and nothing was omitted. We were kept informed at all stages and anything that we were not sure about was explained to us in such a way that we could understand. Therefore we would highly recommend Heather and would not hesitate to engage her again.

I used the services of one of the Toller's partners for a restrictive covenant issue in London that threatened to derail our development project. Having dealt with many legal professionals and also managed solicitors in commercial property for many years in a previous role, it was refreshing to deal with a legal professional who was so pragmatic, responsive and knowledgeable in their field of expertise. Working with Heather allowed us to arrive at a solution that ensured the project went forward. Huge thanks.

About this branch

Description

Founded in 1877, Tollers has grown to become a leading Regional Law Firm, with 6 offices and a geographic footprint throughout the South and East Midlands. With our long history comes a degree of prestige, wisdom and impressive depth of experience. However, our approach is a very modern one – we are here to help you keep pace with, or one step ahead of, the legal complexities of modern life and business, and to lead our peers by example when it comes to providing high-quality legal services. and you will discover that we focus on you and how we can help you deal with the legal challenges you face, no matter how complex. Like any fruitful relationship, that means listening closely to what you have to say, truly understanding your circumstances both from a personal and business perspective and taking the time to explain points of law clearly and simply without waffle, jargon or legalese. Many law firms call this “client focus”. At Tollers we call it “the very least you should expect”. Of course, what we do for you is important, but so is how we do it. So we continually invest in our people, processes and technology to ensure the service you receive is both first-class and cost-effective. It is about acting professionally, adapting the way we do things to best serve your needs, and building a relationship based on trust, mutual respect, professionalism and the desire to help you succeed. Because after all is said and done, we measure our success by your success.
