Miracles do happen!

After dealing with our previous solicitor sitting on our house purchase file for 6 months we had nearly lost all hope... our mortgage offer was expiring, the sellers were about to pull out of selling their house and every solicitor we called couldn't help us...that was until we called Liz Dack from Whitehead Monckton.
Liz has been invaluable and a -send, without Liz and her vast experience and knowledge our house purchase would not have happened.
Liz was approachable, helpful, empathetic and kind and did the impossible. Liz went above and beyond, kept us updated every step of the way, explained what we didn't understand and now, we have just exchanged contracts (within two weeks of taking over our file!!) and completion is in a couple days! We are over the moon and cannot thank Liz and her team enough. Thank you so much Liz, miracles really do happen!

We have both used Whitehead Monckton in the past arranging Deputyship and sorting out fairly complicated wills (and lack of) for various members of our family. In each case this was handled by Andrea Houston and her team in a most professional way,which is why when it came to sorting our own Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney we made the same choice again.

I was helped with a simultaneous sale and purchase, neither of which was completely straightforward. Chantal was very knowledgeable and helpful, and I was particularly impressed with her on the day of completion. There are always frustrations with conveyancing solicitors, I think, but they were minimal for me in this case and, for the money, they did a good job.

I was specifically dealing with Melissa Markham, whom was extremely professional, knowledgeable and reassuring... Melissa acted in a very timely manner and kept me in the loop 100% of the journey. I couldn't have been more pleased.

Daniel Bennett was my solicitor when I was taken to court over custody of my son. He was absolutely amazing. I could not recommend him more highly. He is a consummate professional and is extremely hard working but it always felt that he wasn’t ‘just doing a job’, he genuinely cared about the safety of my son. You could see the benefit of his years of experience as he thinks several steps ahead, I would have been at a disadvantage without him as he always considers ulterior motives and subterfuge that I couldn't anticipate. He considered the consequences of decisions with a view to our long term situation always trying to ensure that my son was the priority. He is a ferocious adversary, yet compassionate to his clients. If I ever have to go to court again I would want Daniel Bennett on my side, not working for the other side! I don’t think there is anyone else more dedicated, kind, child centric and fearless.
