My husband and I recently had our original wills renewed through the 'Free wills Month' offer. I was happy to have found a local solicitor which was partaking in the scheme.
We were given an appointment with Madi Earle who was great to deal with and gave us sound, clear advice on how the offer worked. We also wanted to address putting our wills in trust and Madi again went through every aspect of this and what it entailed, again we felt very comfortable with the advice given to us. Madi was always available if we had any questions and got back to us quickly on any issue.
We found her to be very friendly and professional and she made the process easy to understand throughout all the legal jargon.
We would not hesitate to recommend.

Fast and efficient

This is the first time I have used Sills and Betteridge for my conveyancing but second time conveyancing with Dawn Daly. Dawn completed the conveyancing very quickly on the property I purchased 5 years ago when working for another solicitor and was excellent completing to a tight deadline for me. When I came to sell the property, I found Dawn had move to another solicitor hence my switch to Sills and Betteridge and again I was very pleased with the fast efficient service. Will use again without hesitation.

Sills & Betteridge undertook the conveyancing of our parents' house, on behalf of myself and my siblings. The whole process took well over a year, because the house sat on the market for that length of time, and this fact - as well as the amount of paperwork necessarily involved - threatened to become overwhelming at times. At every turn however someone was there, often in person and always immediately, to reassure and explain and provide help/support/whatever was required, which ultimately made the whole process far less daunting. There were never any delays and every part of the contract we signed was upheld in the most professional way, without ever being officious or intimidatory - quite the opposite, in fact, as everyone we dealt with was approachable, friendly and easy to talk to. Thank you to all at Sills & Betteridge, Howden, for making a difficult task so much easier.

Very friendly team Karen, Emma and Lynn. While mostly I have dealt with Emma the paralegal I cannot thank them enough for the past year with Child proceedings and divorce. Went above and beyond making sure around court they were there and safery measures in place. There were some learning curves that was dealt with swiftly and professionally as a team to rectify. Divorce not fully over yet but I cannot recommend this team enough. Thank you so much.
