Extremely Disappointed with Service from Oliver & Co Solicitors

We had an extremely disappointing experience with the new build department at Oliver & Co Solicitors. Despite their high service fees, which were supposed to reflect superior service, our experience was frustrating and unacceptable.

From the start, we provided all the required information and were left waiting with no progress. Our numerous emails and voicemails went unanswered until we escalated our concerns. Only then did we get a reply asking us to wait even longer.

After promptly paying the requested fee for searches, we were suddenly informed that the solicitor would no longer act for us. Attempts to reach out for clarification were ignored, and we were then told via email to find another solicitor, with a promise of a refund.

When we asked about the refund, we were told some searches had been done, but we have not heard back since. Despite repeated emails asking if there was anything further required from us, we were simply told to be patient and wait. This lack of communication and proper response is incredibly frustrating.

To anyone considering Oliver & Co Solicitors, be cautious. Our experience was marked by poor communication, irresponsible handling of our case, and a general lack of professionalism. We are left extremely disappointed.

100% Best Solicitors Ever !!

This firm was recommended to me and I have to say I was not disappointed. Urgent signature of documents

My wife and I urgently needed documents signing and signatures witnessing. I contacted Tim Polding who, understanding the urgency, agreed to meet my wife and I at his offices the following morning. We duly presented ourselves and Mr Polding dealt with everything in a calm and smooth manner, which is just what we needed. Our needs were urgent, but small, and both my wife and I were impressed that Mr Polding was prepared to put himself out to help us.

We used Oliver & Co Solicitors for our recent sale and purchase of houses. I cannot fault Oliver & Co at all - Dawn and Bronwen were excellent from instruction to completion. They were quick to respond to emails with clear communication. Despite some delays (caused by other factors nothing to do with Oliver & Co) they continued to chase and move things forward, even on our exchange day and completion day Bronwen was continuing to chase and ensure things were in place, keeping us update to date throughout. We do really appreciate the hard work they have done to get us into our new home! We would highly recommend Oliver & Co!

The whole experience with Oliver and Co was perfect. We had a tricky sale, and Lisa Aston, ably assisted by Bronwen Hutchinson, made sure we were kept informed every step of the way. I would thoroughly recommend them - whatever it is they are being paid is not enough!!

I have dealt with Kathryn for nearly 3 years now, and the service I have received has been great! She is very attentive, and has so much knowledge and patience, I have asked her so many questions, and every time she explained, called me and made sure I was aware of the full process, what to expect and I could not be more grateful to have had her along the way for not just legal support but, also just someone who understood certain predicaments and tried her best to help.
