I became Head of the Wills and Probate Department in July 2021. I originally studied law at Keele University, and then completed my Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Chester. I am a member of SFE (Solicitors for the Elderly) which means I specialise in older client law. I pride myself on helping clients create some of the most important documents they will ever sign. We recently sold two properties and bought one which was quite a daunting task as you can imagine. Sarah and Danielle at Oliver and Co were the epitomy of professionalism and went above and beyond to make the whole process smooth, faultless and painless!
The communication was also outstanding and we always knew what stage we were at and questions were answered promptly and fully.
Our experience with Oliver and Co was a stark contrast to our buyers and vendor who were constantly frustrated, annoyed and disappointed by their solicitors who were frankly inept.
We would highly recommend Oliver and Co for any legal work you require if you want to save yourself months of stress and work with professionals who you can trust implicitly!
We have recommended Oliver and Co to so many other people during our conveyancing and ever since.
Special thanks to Sarah Mellor who supported us, kept us updated constantly and did so with a wonderful sense of humour too.

We have utilised Sarah Mellor's expertise on several occasions, and just recently we called upon her again to carry out the conveyancing for a property purchase, and also to revise our Wills and create a Declaration of Trust.
As always, we found the whole experience of dealing with Oliver and Co very positive, pleasant and reassuring, from our initial enquiry with the admin/ reception staff who set up our account, to the face to face Receptionists in the office, through to dealing with Sarah and her assistant Danielle.
Sarah is a great communicator; easy to talk to, quick to respond to emails, and very approachable. She is also knowledgable and efficient, ensuring that any actions required by her and/or us were dealt with quickly. She is very thorough in her approach and we were always confident that she was working to get the best outcome for us. Danielle also was really approachable, reliable and thorough, and we were very impressed with her abilities.
We are very grateful for the help, advice and expertise we received, which was always given in a friendly manner; a pleasure to deal with! Thank you Sarah, your team and the other staff members that we came into contact with at Oliver and Co!

Sarah was recommended to me as a conveyancer when buying my first property and I am so glad I chose her.
