Confident from the outset

From our first meeting with Louisa we felt we were in safe hands. Her honest and straight-talking approach were appreciated in a situation which felt overwhelming and hugely stressful for us to navigate. Her experience and foresight enabled us to make and execute a plan which ultimately proved to be successful in achieving the objective I tasked her with which was securing 50:50 shared care for my son, but alsp through her quick and astute thinking early in the process, avoided him being moved six hours away from me. My partner and I are incredibly grateful to Louisa and her team for their guidance, reassurance and dedication throughout.

Superb service and a joy to deal with

Absolutely fabulous service and customer care from Hay and Kilner and specifically Georgia during the sale of our Offices. Despite our concerns about getting this finalised prior to the forthcoming budget and some reluctance by the buyers solicitors to work to the same pace (!) it had all turned out well in the end. Georgia was beyond helpful and a pleasure to deal with, answering queries and correspondence promptly and keeping us informed at all times.

Can't recommend the company and specifically Georgia and more highly.

Kayleigh was an ideal support for my Child Matters

Kayleigh is a well informed children’s lawyer. She was particular and exacting in her approach to resolving my children’s matters throughout my divorce. I appreciated that Kayleigh took a mature problem solving approach as opposed to playing a ‘ for tat’ game that doesn’t benefit anyone.

It was unfortunate that a Children’s agreement could not be reached after a long and complicated process despite Kayleigh giving her best.
Note: I would recommend anyone facing an apathetic or unyielding opposition to take their matter straight to court to avoid a drawn out process with no outcome.

Best conveyancing we’ve ever worked with

Hay & Kilner have a reputation for being great and they were exactly that. Because of the way they are a large and well established firm, there were never any disruptions to the process of sorting our house sale or new purchase. The whole process was, in fact, extremely fast. The Hay & Kilner team kept us informed every step of the way and they were thoughtful and quick in doing so. It would would absolutely be fair to describe them as meeting or even exceeding the gold standard for conveyancing solicitors. The next time we need to sell or buy a property, we’ll return to Hay & Kilner.

The help that Hay & Kilmer gave to us when we were fighting a Court case was absolutely invaluable., in particular I would like to give thanks to Louisa Beresford, who guided us through what was a very difficult time. Her commitment and integrity were absolutely second to none!
We won the case hands down but we could not have done it with her legal expertise and guidance.
I can unreservedly recommend this Firm!!
