My late mother's Will

Keir McGovern was our main point of contact in the handling of our late mother's Will. There was a complication in that there was a Trust set up within the Will in favour of our brother, James. Sadly he
pre-deceased our mother and we should have cancelled the trust following his passing. However we weren't aware of this and it was discovered after our mother passed. Keir and Tom took on the task of dealing with the Will, including the trust and dealt with it in a kind, caring and professional manner. Nothing was too much trouble and Keir was always on hand and happy to deal with all of our many queries throughout the entire process. I'm very grateful to her and will be asking her to attend to my Will when it needs amending next year.

Thank you

I am leaving this review to express my thanks and gratitude to Katie Westgarth of Hays&Kilner who has helped me in a professional and friendly manner with my case.
I was really overwhelmed before the first meeting with her but she completely but me at my ease and explained the proceedings and paperwork to me so that I could understand what to me was over my head . She even accompanied me to the court case as I was intimidated by the system and certain people present, she wasn't paid for this and did it she said as she likes to see good people get justice
I would not hesitate to use this firm again in future I'd I need further help

Excellent established law firm

Excellent established law firm. I would not hesitate (and have indeed done so) Hay & Kilner for family law matters. Jeremy was readily available to discuss anything I needed clarified or general queries about my case. There was no delay in correspondence before, during or after court which gave immense peace of mind.

So helpful

I dealt with the Wallsend office in the past regarding my Aunt's Will and found Mr O'Neill so helpful that I recently consulted him regarding my own Will. I was guided through my wishes and he pointed out pitfalls and made suggestions as to how matters could be more easily resolved. The whole process was dealt with fast and efficiently.

The help that Hay & Kilmer gave to us when we were fighting a Court case was absolutely invaluable., in particular I would like to give thanks to Louisa Beresford, who guided us through what was a very difficult time. Her commitment and integrity were absolutely second to none!
We won the case hands down but we could not have done it with her legal expertise and guidance.
I can unreservedly recommend this Firm!!
