The practice was originally formed in 1988 and was known as Michael Stephenson & Co. A subsequent partnership with Mark Fairweather from Leiston gave rise to the firm of Fairweather Stephenson & Co which the current Managing Director, Patrick Cooney, joined in 1995. The practice has operated from its premises in Hamilton Road, Felixstowe for many years and continues to increase its client base under the new name of Fairstep Solicitors. Quality of their service was satisfactory and adequate. However, when staff are on leave or on their non-working day there seems to drop off in communications and trying to receive information and/or get answers is very challenging. Often I would chase other staff members and/or the reception and make no progress. I would have to wait until the employee returned to work which slowed down the process and at times became stressful.
