The practice was originally formed in 1988 and was known as Michael Stephenson & Co. A subsequent partnership with Mark Fairweather from Leiston gave rise to the firm of Fairweather Stephenson & Co which the current Managing Director, Patrick Cooney, joined in 1995. The practice has operated from its premises in Hamilton Road, Felixstowe for many years and continues to increase its client base under the new name of Fairstep Solicitors. Jasmin was an outstanding solicitor, so kind and thoughtful. As i have torn a muscle in my right arm, causing my hand to be numb i could not drive to her office so she conducted the work via phone and letters (She had met me in the past). She was so efficient and a pleasure to deal with.
