It took them over 2 years to complete the purchase of a property 😡.
They lost my documents, the person I dealt with was really hard to get in contact with and deal with them and left the job without even telling me in advance. The charges were much higher than agreed.

Dear Zapryan, we note that we received Contract papers from the solicitors acting for the seller on 21st September, and that the completion of your purchase took place on the 18th December; the legal work was therefore completed within 12 weeks. The registration of your purchase was delayed due to third parties, over which we have no control, including HM Land Registry taking almost two years to complete the registration. Unfortunately, this is outside our control. We are sorry that you felt that the person dealing with your matter was difficult to get in contact with, and that you weren’t provided with notice that she was leaving the firm; we can see, however, that the file was passed to another person to deal with, and that her details were provided to you, with an invitation to contact her should you have any concerns or queries. We further note that the legal fees charged in relation to the purchase were the same as was quoted on your initial instruction paperwork.

Went with Risdon Minehead branch to buy my first home. The whole process was much faster than expected and within eight weeks I had the keys to the house!

Caz and Kate were very helpful and always able to answer any questions throughout the process. They went the extra mile to make sure I had everything I required legally which included creating extra documents at my request which wouldn't usually be required for buying a property, just purely for my benefit and personal circumstances.

Overall I can't fault them. Really helpful and would definitely go with Risdon Minehead branch again.

Paula from Risdon Hosegood in Taunton acted for our sale and purchase in Yeovil. We were delighted with the service and found everyone friendly and extremely helpful.
