We had a very good experience with the service provided by the Litigation department based at the Taunton office. We would give a 5 star rating to the work of Yana Goutsal.
However our experience with the partner at the Williton office was much less good. He seemed to misunderstand our intentions in our wish to set up a life time trust in favour of our son, and seemed to be prejudiced by the fact we had been obliged to resort to litigation in a family dispute. When we requested a second interview to go forward with the Trust, we got no response or offer of an appointment. We have now gone to a different law firm and I cannot see us using Risdons Williton branch again in the future.

Probate
My review is that these solicitors offer a very good, knowledgeable service, very approachable and in our case, dealt with quickly and efficiently. All queries answered appropriately and very pleased with all aspects of dealing with my late father's estate.

Mixed experience - far too many avoidable errors
As an Executor with no prior experience of Risdons I feel the company is taking on more work than the solicitors and their staff can manage resulting in poor interaction with clients and unforced errors in paperwork which I consider unacceptable given the very high charges the profession charges for their services.

Absolute 'trust' in the work they do. I and my late husband have been clients to Risdon Hosegood Solicitors for a good number of years. They are my Executors and have the Power of Attorney for my finances and wellbeing. They are very professional and honest, equally all the staff involved.

Sale of my Mums house
