Efficient and effective

MFG carried out the sale and purchases relating to my recent move.

I always felt they were on top of things and proactive in identifying any potential issues and dealing with them. Communication was good and in the right amount and helped to explain things to me in layman's terms.

The price was as quoted with some minor additions that cropped up on the purchase but nothing significant or that i felt should have been covered in the basic fee. So no issues on price at all.

Overall I felt I was in good hands throughout the whole process.

This was my first experience purchasing a commercial unit so I chose mfg solicitors from a recommendation of the sales agent TSR. The solicitor recommended was David Raymont. An estimate was offered and was I quickly sent an App for secure information transfer.

One small annoyance is I was immediately passed over to another solicitor called Rachel who became my main contact. This should have been explained on the off-set as I was very confused at the beginning why I wasn't dealing with David. I soon realized that David only became involved with more pressing matters. I can confirm that both Rachel and David dealt with some serious issues in a very professional manner and I have no complaints here.

The second point was the final cost was considerably more than the estimate. There were some issues with a lease and old mezzanine without building regs, but I was surprised by the extra hours that I was charged for dealing with these issues. I think what is included in the estimate and what is extra cost is not clear enough in the estimate. I recommend giving some examples that are not standard and could require extra hours.

Would I use mfg solicitors again? Absolutely. Both Rachel Raybould-Dear and David were excellent, and Rachel particularly was excellent with communication during the process. So well done to the team.

Danielle is professional, understanding and supported me throughout the whole conveyancing process.
Danielle and assistant Chloe Williams were able to advise and support when necessary and reduced my anxieties around buying and selling a property in tandem.
