Alex has worked with the firm for over 12 years, having started as a paralegal in September 2010. Qualifying into the Agriculture & Rural Affairs (ARA) Department, Alex has never looked back. She has risen through the ranks at great speed and was recognised for her hard work and dedication with promotion to Partner in July 2021 and become Divisional Head of the ARA Department in February 2023. Alex advises clients on a wide range of agricultural legal matters from sales and purchases of agricultural land and high value rural properties, as well as advising on farm business tenancies, deeds of easement and drafting and negotiating land development agreements including conditional contracts, option agreements, overage deeds and section 106 agreements. Alex enjoys advising on all aspects of agricultural law but has a particular passion for and specialises in high value complex farm and Estates sales and purchases. Alex represents rural individuals, families and businesses in Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Gloucestershire, and into Wales. Alex also works very closely with a number of key local referrers including agents, accountants and local bank managers. Alex is an active member of the ALA and the CLA and has been invited to speak at several seminars aimed at local professionals and clients for the CLA and the CAAV. She was President of the Worcestershire Law Society in 2017/18 and helped them raise £11,000.00 for charity by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in 2018. She currently sits on the Worcestershire Law Society committee.
