This was my first experience purchasing a commercial unit so I chose mfg solicitors from a recommendation of the sales agent TSR. The solicitor recommended was David Raymont. An estimate was offered and was I quickly sent an App for secure information transfer.
One small annoyance is I was immediately passed over to another solicitor called Rachel who became my main contact. This should have been explained on the off-set as I was very confused at the beginning why I wasn't dealing with David. I soon realized that David only became involved with more pressing matters. I can confirm that both Rachel and David dealt with some serious issues in a very professional manner and I have no complaints here.
The second point was the final cost was considerably more than the estimate. There were some issues with a lease and old mezzanine without building regs, but I was surprised by the extra hours that I was charged for dealing with these issues. I think what is included in the estimate and what is extra cost is not clear enough in the estimate. I recommend giving some examples that are not standard and could require extra hours.
Would I use mfg solicitors again? Absolutely. Both Rachel Raybould-Dear and David were excellent, and Rachel particularly was excellent with communication during the process. So well done to the team.

Assignment of business and lease
This was a difficult case and did not go to completion so the business is back up for sale .
Rachel and Matthew were very professional and informative throughout but I communicated more with Rachel throughout this process. She was and still continues to be an amazing support , extremely efficient , approachable and very calming in what was a very challenging and stressful time.
She is a credit to your firm and I would definitely recommend her to others.

First class service
I needed a new lease to be prepared for my commercial property and it was urgent owing to a licence that also had to be transferred. I contacted MFG on a Monday morning and gave instructions. I was given a maximum price for the preparation of the document. The draft lease was emailed to me the following afternoon! It was agreed and I attended the offices where the document was signed and witnessed. I received the invoice for the work on Friday and it was nearly 50% cheaper than the price I was given. I will definitely use the services of MFG again

Thorough and efficient service

Rachel was informative and quick to answer any queries we had.
