Prompt responses and clear communication

The process of selling a property as an executor was handled pretty smoothly despite some unavoidable delays.
It was relatively easy to speak with, or message, the professional dealing with our case and replies were timely.

Friendly communications gave clear, uncomplicated advice and instructions, making the process less of the expected hassle. Thank you all.

Probate case

Dealing with the passing of a loved one can be difficult in itself. It is such an emotional issue and then there are all the practical matters that we have to deal with. On top of all this, there are legal requirements which have to be met whilst dealing with everything else.
This is where a good lawyer comes in and from my own recent experience I can honestly say that Asmaa Hannan is one of the best. She has dealt with my case in a professional and friendly manner and has supported me with sound and sensible advice all the way through the process. She has kept me fully informed of the situation at all times with clear communication and has been a real pleasure to work with. Asmaa is a real credit to herself and the firm she works for and I would have no hesitation in recommending her and the services offered by Josiah Hincks Solicitors.

AVOID. Chantelle was honestly the rudest person I have ever come across. A real discredit to your company.

I spoke to multiple solicitors for quotes and all of them were so lovely. From the first time speaking to Chantelle, she was completely rude and unwilling to help. I have a trail of emails showing how rude she was- when all I was doing was asking for support and relevant questions. In an already stressful situation, it made me feel so uncomfortable, and anxious. I have never been in a situation like this before, where someone is openly rude and arrogant. I asked a question to which she responded ‘I’m not payed to answer that’ and then constantly avoiding answering any questions. She double booked me originally and then when I couldn’t make the new appointment, she blamed me saying they’ve ’accommodated me’- despite double booking me in the first place.

I ended up un-appointing them, purely based on the attitude of Chantelle. The reception staff were lovely- it was just Chantelle only- so a real shame one staff member can portray your company in such a negative light. I tried asking for another solicitor and Chantelle said there was no one else???? That doesn’t seem right to me. Hence why I ended up un -appointing them as a whole.

Disgusting service and I believe which ever senior sees this, has a proper look into how she communicates with clients- as I doubt I am the only/first person who has experienced this from her. Considering it started from the first conversation we had.

I was advised to use this firm by a colleague, but unfortunately, my experience has not been satisfactory. I would strongly recommend ensuring that your case is not handled primarily by an intern, as this led to significant delays and unclear advice in my situation. While I appreciate the need for learning opportunities, the lack of communication and delayed responses to emails have been disappointing. I would appreciate it if someone from the firm could get in touch to discuss this further. Thank you.
