The best legal service I've had recently

For various reasons I've had dealings with a number of legal firms over the past year. Jane Cathcart and Heringtons were by far the most professional, easy to deal with and most proactive to work with. Their level of service was on a different level to their counterparts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Successful outcomes to selling and buying

Jane Cathcart and her team provided us with an efficient and supportive service and when on leave an able locum was on hand to keep things going. Actually it was more personal than that and we were pleased with the attention to detail and fast responses we received. We were well looked after throughout.

As a South African , resident in South Africa , owning a property in Yorkshire for 37 years I approached your office in Rye for assistance when I decided to sell it. I have a sister living in Peasemarsh and I am 92 years old .

Everyone I dealt with at Herington`s were most helpful and friendly . To begin with Barclays Bank could just not find my title deed and the property did not appear in the National Deeds Registry. To cut a long story short Heringtons took up the challenge and over quite a long period of time and perseverance finally brought matters to a very satisfactory conclusion..

About this branch

Description

We’ve been serving the people of East Sussex for around 250 years and can trace our history back to the firms of Raper & Fovargue in Battle and Dawes Son & Prentice in Rye in the mid 18th Century. There has been a lot of change and growth since then but we are still firmly rooted in the local community, combining legal excellence with a highly personalised service – for local people and businesses. Although constantly improving our use of technology to provide the most effective legal service, we still take the time and care to build one-to-one relationships with clients - a traditional way of working that’s fast disappearing in many law firms. As a client, you will usually work with the same lawyer and legal secretary throughout each engagement. There are some exceptions, such as in matters where you may need more than one specialist but, in most cases, you will have the dedicated support of the same well-qualified and experienced lawyer. We are accredited with the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) so you know that when you instruct us on a residential conveyancing matter, you are in safe hands. Whatever your legal need, whether personal or business, we look forward to helping you.
