Debbie Burridge
Litigation Assistant
Debbie's role is a Litigation Assistant in our Family department and she works closely with the head of the Family team, Natalie Jones. She assists in matters relating to divorce and disputes arising from the breakdown of a relationship. Debbie is usually the first port of contact for new clients and she ensures that cases progress swiftly and smoothly.
Debbie regularly assists people who are trying to negotiate a financial settlement following the sad breakdown of their marriage. She is sensitive and understands how difficult a time it is when a relationship ends.
Debbie is an “Ask Me” Ambassador for the Women’s Aid charity, and as such is trained to respond to disclosures of domestic abuse and knows where to signpost people for help and support.
BACKGROUND: Debbie worked for over 20 years for large law firms and multimillion pound property investment companies in London before moving to the seaside with her children. Debbie then took a break from the legal field and in 2001 she completed a diploma in Sports Therapy and Personal Training. Debbie worked as a Personal Trainer and Sports Therapist before returning to legal practice. Debbie joined Heringtons in 2009 and worked alongside well respected senior partner Denise Longhurst until 2018 when Denise retired from the practice.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE: Debbie likes to run and walk with her two dogs, Rudy and Lilly. She also takes regular holidays to her second home in Spain.
