Heringtons provided me with impeccable legal advice and dealt with my divorce with the upmost diligence and compassion. Natalie and Lola where empathetic throughout the prolonged proceedings, which concluded at an FDR hearing with a positive outcome, so thanks to all the team and Cerys Sayer who represented me at the FDR. The whole team prepared all documentation to the highest standards ensuring no stone was unturned. Highly recommended.

Very competent and good value divorce lawyers

I tried to represent myself when I was going through a divorce but it was quite complicated and I needed a lawyer. I hired one who said he would act for me, but did not. I was then threatened with court action for non-compliance. I turned to Heringtons. They got up to speed on my case very quickly and got us back on track. They took me all the way through the process, including court hearings. It wasn't cheap but it was a lot less than my ex-wife paid for (presumably) similar advice and guidance. They were attentive and sympathetic throughout. Good job.

Natalie's service was amazing

18 months after arriving in Natalie's office full of anxiety, stress and confusion about the divorce process, I am now in a completely different situation thanks to her guidance. Her level head, kind manner and expertise were invaluable in a. fraught time. I never felt she was pushing me in any way and actively worked with me towards the mediation process- she is the opposite of a greedy stereotype of a divorce lawyer. I can recommend her enough.

Settlement Agreed!

Nikki Coward did a very good job in bringing my dispute to a successful conclusion. She was assisted in the latter stages by Beth Reid, also a very good solicitor.
In my experience I found Nikki friendly, helpful but above all very professional, who has a profound knowledge of her subject. I was confident throughout the whole process that I was in good hands.

A great experience at a difficult time.

I needed help to review & reply to communication received from my ex wife’s solicitors. I called Herringtons LLP who assigned Lola Goodwin as my family solicitor. Throughout the time Lola was looking after my case I received great advice and help in doing what was best for me. I was always informed of everything that was going on throughout this time by either Lola or her assistant Stella, both are a credit to Herringtons & I would have no problem recommending her.

I met with Natalie Taylor-Jones regarding the certification of documents and during our meeting I sought some matrimonial advice on behalf of my sister who was going through a particularly difficult time. Natalie took the time to talk through her options with me and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She was incredibly knowledgeable, and explained the legal process to me in clear terms, and at no extra cost. Natalie provided thoughtful, strategic advice which I was then able to pass on to my sister. If you’re looking for a lawyer who genuinely cares, Natalie is the one to go to.

I have previously worked on cases and have recommended friends to Natalie Taylor-Jones due to here excellent client care and her attention to detail in financial remedy cases and I would have no issue in referring people to Natalie again in the future.

About this branch

Description

We’ve been serving the people of East Sussex for around 250 years and can trace our history back to the firms of Raper & Fovargue in Battle and Dawes Son & Prentice in Rye in the mid 18th Century. There has been a lot of change and growth since then but we are still firmly rooted in the local community, combining legal excellence with a highly personalised service – for local people and businesses. Although constantly improving our use of technology to provide the most effective legal service, we still take the time and care to build one-to-one relationships with clients - a traditional way of working that’s fast disappearing in many law firms. As a client, you will usually work with the same lawyer and legal secretary throughout each engagement. There are some exceptions, such as in matters where you may need more than one specialist but, in most cases, you will have the dedicated support of the same well-qualified and experienced lawyer. We are accredited with the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) so you know that when you instruct us on a residential conveyancing matter, you are in safe hands. Whatever your legal need, whether personal or business, we look forward to helping you.
