Excellent service

From first communication Heringtons proved to be a good choice. Throughout the sale and purchasing processes our conveyancing lawyer, Jenna French, handled all matters in a most professional manner keeping us informed when appropriate and without fuss. Her attention to detail and clarity of communication was impressive. We recommend her without reservation.

Purchase and sale with Herringtons!

We worked with Jodanna at Heringtons to deal with our home move. This is our third time working with Herringtons for moving home and once again they didn’t disappoint and Jodanna was superb. Everything was on time, she was very responsive, and was such a great support and guide through the process. I would recommend her everyday of the week! Thanks Jodanna

Excellent conveyancing service

Jodanna at Heringtons provided an outstanding service from start to finish. We were selling an apartment that had a complex leasing arrangement which she dealt with very efficiently. After the first property we were buying fell through, she dealt with the second one extremely quickly and we reached completion in a very short time frame which meant we didn't lose our buyer. Jodanna was always responsive, clear and is very pleasant to deal with!

About this branch

Description

We’ve been serving the people of East Sussex for around 250 years and can trace our history back to the firms of Raper & Fovargue in Battle and Dawes Son & Prentice in Rye in the mid 18th Century. There has been a lot of change and growth since then but we are still firmly rooted in the local community, combining legal excellence with a highly personalised service – for local people and businesses. Although constantly improving our use of technology to provide the most effective legal service, we still take the time and care to build one-to-one relationships with clients - a traditional way of working that’s fast disappearing in many law firms. As a client, you will usually work with the same lawyer and legal secretary throughout each engagement. There are some exceptions, such as in matters where you may need more than one specialist but, in most cases, you will have the dedicated support of the same well-qualified and experienced lawyer. We are accredited with the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) so you know that when you instruct us on a residential conveyancing matter, you are in safe hands. Whatever your legal need, whether personal or business, we look forward to helping you.
