The worst solicitors ever

Will drag out any case for as long as possible, not listen to you and gas light you, the heart of narcissism, absolutely appalling representation, don’t be fooled by the nice face and smile they will take it to the cleaners for as long as they can.

We recently had the pleasure of working
with Charlotte Pottinger during the purchase of our first property, and we couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From the very beginning, she demonstrated professionalism, knowledge, and a genuine commitment to helping us navigate the complexities of the property buying process.

Charlotte was always available to answer my questions, no matter how trivial they seemed. She took the time to explain each step clearly, which made the entire process feel much less daunting. Her attention to detail ensured that all legal aspects were handled efficiently and accurately, giving us peace of mind throughout the transaction.

What stood out the most was her proactive approach. She anticipated potential issues and addressed them before they became problems. This level of service is rare and truly appreciated.

I would highly recommend Charlotte Pottinger to anyone looking for reliable and knowledgeable legal assistance in property transactions. She helped us to purchase the property in 8 weeks.
Thank you for making our property purchase a smooth and successful experience!

We chose Fretten for our house move as we had used their services for another aspect of law previously.
Phoebe and Julia were professional, knowledgeable and courteous throughout what would otherwise have been a very stressful process.
Their fees are reasonable, their communication exempleray, they are an asset to Frettens and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

About this branch

Description

Frettens was founded in 1978 by Ian Fretten as a sole practitioner in Christchurch, dealing with residential property, wills, probate and trusts. As a firm, we grew steadily over the years, providing additional commercial services and expanding to Ringwood. Our bright team are not only experts in their field, but excellent communicators with a positive, can-do approach to helping clients. The team use plain English and don’t hide behind unnecessarily complex ‘legalese’. As a client, you will always have your lawyer's name, email, and direct contact number for ease of access. Your first meeting with us is always free. People shouldn’t be put off seeking legal advice for fear of being charged to be told they don’t have a case.
