We were recommended Chris from a friend who had used the firm and we could not be happier with the service we received. Chris was extremely responsive and replied to emails/ queries immediately. He also explained things to us clearly and provided regular updates. We were expecting twins at the time and emphasised the need to move as quickly as possible which Chris responded to by progressing both the sale and purchase as soon as he could. We couldn’t recommend him more.

I originally contacted 8 firms to get an idea of costs and procedure to purchase the Freehold of my property from and investment fund so knew it was pretty straightforward and probably not worth the time for some of these firms but was gobsmacked when 2 downright refused as they said it wasn't worth their time and only another called back but wanted a lot more to do so. Whilst all the others were local to North Manchester, Clifford's is in South Manchester. The lady who called me back was both polite and professional, taking my down my details and promised a return call that afternoon by a Partner. Chris Furbey called me back and was both polite and professional and although a simple task to him, treated me like any other client and answered my questions promptly.
He always answered my emails within a couple of hours and updated me by both telephone and email right up until day of completion. They are the only firm that I will consider in future as there may be cheaper out there but I found their costs to be reasonable, transparent and the service as it should be - professional and excellent.

I had a great experience with David during the process of buying my first home. David responded to emails fast, answered questions and queries clearly, and was happy to help in any way he could. This was hugely appreciated during this stressful process, I only wish the estate agents I dealt with were as responsive as David!

David was fantastic throughout the process, first helping us with one property which fell through and then with the property we eventually purchased. Prompt, proactive and comprehensive throughout. Really put us in a position to make decisions with confidence and to feel on top of the process.
Additionally, David was always patient, understanding and thorough in guiding us through the many parts of the process we were interacting with for the first time, making clear what we were required to do and reassuring us under pressure from sellers and estate agents. The level of professionalism and care is the main reason I will be recommending David to anyone looking to buy a house.

Davids communication skills were excellent - he responded quickly, which meant a great deal to me, and was always informative and supportive.
The sale was quite protracted, and therefore stressful due to periods of radio silence from the buyers solicitor, but David steadied the ship beautifully and dealt with my numerous emails with the patience of a saint!
Colin Cumine was also efficient when covering Davids annual leave and was very adept at moving things on during those 2 weeks.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Clifford Johnston & Co, and I will certainly be using David Oldham for my next house purchase - why would I go anywhere else?

If I could give more the 5 stars I would!
I have recently completed the sale on my first home and Chris was amazing!
It was a long sale with a few issues along the way but Chris dealt with them quickly and kept me updated and was very patient with all the questions I had!
He worked hard to make sure I didn’t miss my mortgage cut off date and we made it on time!
I will definitely look to use Clifford Johnston again!
